Ok. if you drive or if you can control the music while riding in a car, what music do you CRANK the volume up to? What do you like to "share" with the other people in traffic?
Me? I LOVE to blast Metal and House music. Death metal, thrash metal, Hair metal all get a good pounding sound that resonates and gets me either odd looks or thumbs up. I'm Blue (you know the song) is so much fun to play loudly for the other cars to enjoy too! It's catchy and man that song has a bass line.
also I like to Rickroll traffic from time to time because I can :D

I listen to a lot of Cher in the car. XD I also like metal and Fleetwood Mac. Brand New and Taproot are other bands that I tend to listen to while driving. Old Taking Back Sunday is always fun to crank up loudly as well. I mean like their first two albums and that's about it. XD

Hehehe. I'm such a horrible person. If anybody has ever heard Julien-K's "Systeme de Sexe"...yeah (warning: that baby is not exactly safe for work, lol). I turn the volume all the way up, roll down my windows, and cruise down main street playing that baby. ^_^ Also, Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack" is one of my favorite head turners. 3oh!3's stuff is a special guest every now and then, and I also love to turn up Elvis and go flying down a back road with it full blast. Gives the cows something to dance to.

Hahaha. Yess! playing wildly inappropriate music is perfect for traffic sharing. If I want to shock and 'awe' my trapped audience I find some good old Blood Hound Gang. Those guys have some baaad music that is good for a shock or two in the car pool lane.

Well, normally I am not an American rap person, but I listen to it while driving at night, well it depends on the beat it's going to. Because I have to have something to tame my imagination while driving and fast beat helps me for some reason.

Car's demand the beat. My brother plays Dubstep in his car. Personally I can't listen to it. It hurts my head most of the time. I'd rather have something I can sing along to, even if the lyrics are just growlings :)

It's catchy! And decent music despite being shock music, many people don't take them as a serious band. Their song's aren't serious but I think that they are serious about their art.

And on that thread. You have to be an awesome musician to do a music video where you have to fend off ninjas mid-song. Shout out to Presidents of the United States. Love their music, it differs from what I would "share" with my traffic mates, but sometimes you just need to blast "Peaches" or "Blank Baby".

Peaches is an AMAZING song.
I listen to lots of stuff so you never really know exactly what I'll bust out. Might be some GWAR, might be some Sinatra. Hell, I don't even know! Sometimes it's Snoop Dogg! All I know is that I'm obnoxious. I'll jump around, sing, bang at the steering wheel, and get all up in people's faces.

HAHAHA. I laugh because for me it's the same way. If I'm not playing a CD or playlist, my ipod jumps genres from GWAR to Sinatra. It's really odd to go from "Penguin Attack" to "Fly Me to the Moon". Today it wanted to play some 80's classics like Duran Duran, Police, and Genesis. I had a migraine from work so I kept my window up for most of the trip and only blasted "Volcano" for my metal fix...

Oye ve. I hate when I've had a long day and I'm driving home at midnight because I have no choice and my damn iPod decides that it's necessary to pluck out all of the Enya and play them in a row on shuffle.

I can control the music in my car because I have that usb thing so I have this bad habit of skipping songs in my player if I do not feel it.
During traffic jams, It would actually depend on my mood because my mood would dictate what I want to listen to. Most of the time it could be alternative rock. I like blasting things with heavy drum sounds. Most of the time it would be songs from the 90s. Another type of music I like to listen to would be super cutesy anime music which I usually never play when my friends are in my car because it would annoy the hell out of them so at least when I am stuck alone in my car, I can bounce around and sing in my high pitched voice without being laughed at! LOL!

Lol. I can, too. (change the songs) My steering wheel is hooked up to my radio/iPod controller, etc. So i just have to press the up or down button. ^_^ My iPod is possessed, though. It's about half electronica/metal/rock and half soothing music of various kinds. It generally senses what I want, but it likes to piss me off when I'm tired and need to stay up and it decides to play things that would put me to sleep.

I have a jack port thing for my iPod, so I have to poke and prod at it to change songs. And it likes to choose its own songs. I have 5000+ songs and only 35 Sinatra, but all it seems to play is Old Blue Eyes. The General LOVES himself some crooners. Or it will play parts of the radio stories I have, only the middle bits and never in sequence. And something is up with the equalizer because I'll have to turn up the car radio to hear one song only to have the next song blast me into the trunk... |:< not fun.

*snort* That happens to me when I go in between Simon & Garfunkle and something like Red or All That Remains. I have to turn the volume up to 40+ just to hear S&G and then the metal stuff only necessitates level 20 or so. You can imagine. ^_~

Oh, it's a pain! It really is jarring when the music decibels change that much. I jump easily and sometimes I've even jerked at the wheel while driving when the volume between songs is that extreme. And the back and forth gives me a headache...

Mostly Backstreet Boys in my car, and occasionally other CDs that I feel I wanna bump. I roll down the windows, pump the volume up to 30-33, and let it go :D
Other artists I've put up:
Aqua (Barbie Girl)
Katy Perry (Teenage Dream)
Jersey Boys/Frankie Valli
NSync
Britney Spears
Still, it's mostly Backstreet Boys. I don't care who I'm annoying, I will promote them and play them forever : )

Speaking of playing music in traffic. I haven't charged my iPod in a week, yay me!, so it's been sitting at home while I travel back and forth. But I got some decent radio stations here, but the best part is when I'm blasting the Alt Rock station there's usually someone two or three cars away blasting the SAME station!! :D *ThumbsUP*
