Have you ever found yourself tired of always listening to the same things?Ever wondered what other artists and bands are out there? What about wanting to be adventurous and listening to a genre you've never heard before?

I know I've felt and wondered these things before. So finally this idea popped into my head,why not make a thread where people will suggest songs and artists? That way if the urge ever comes to listen to something new,all you'd need to do is pop into the thread and look.

So feel free to suggest to your hearts content,and discuss what treasures you might find here!

I'll get things started by suggesting Marie-Mai a french singer,with fun tunes that you don't even need to understand the language to enjoy. Here are a few of her songs.

Or if you want something a little more understandable,maybe you could go over and listen to some Frank Sinatra,a classic artist with Witchcraft that will most certainly Fly me to the moon. :D

For those with a sense of humor, Flight of the Conchords is a great band with an extremely diverse musical style. Unlike other artists, their songs are never spoofs - they're completely original standalones. Below are links to a few of their biggest hits, and some of my favorites, too.

The Band Perry ,they're a country band,and I usually don't listen to country....much. But there's this one song of theirs that has been stuck in my head for a while,and it keeps reminding me of a particular scene in Anne of Green Gables, the one where Anne is in the boat and pretending that she is the Lady of the Lake.

Electric Six Hard rock or metal with a dash of DANCE! There music is catchy and recently has been used on shows like Simpson's and the commercial for White Collar. They're not meant to be taken seriously as they are just having fun with their music. Most of what they do is different and wacky, some is thoughtful or even racy. But it is all interesting and catchy dance tunes.

Definitely different...I just watched "Danger!High Voltage!" Catchy,but I think I'll stick to lyric videos from now on. lol :D

I know that song. Can't stand it but then again, I can't stand Electric Six in general.

I guess I could recommend a few songs I can't get out of my head lately.

Boys Lie Girls Steal by Slow Roosevelt These guys have a bunch of good songs, this was the first one I ever heard by them and I tend to sing it randomly.
Just So You Know by American Head Charge I discovered this on accident and fell in love.

Okay so it's a typical Thursday night for me...well almost. I usually have music playing because I am the type person who LOVES music...but tonight I can not find a good song. Does anybody have any suggestions? I really want some music playing but I actually can't think of a song! I usually have a list up my sleeve but tonight I got NOTHIN! Suggestions please?
