Have you ever listened to your iPod or something and realised that the song you were listening to is something you would never admit to liking?
I do that all the time!!
It is even worse when I start singing it out loud and notice everyone snickering around me. >~<
The number one song that fits this would be...
Oh. The Climb from Miley Cyrus. -.-
I would never admit to loving that song but oh.. I so do!!
It is very well written, good music, just has the depressing sentence of being sung by HER. Hehe...
So any who, what sing are you embarrassed to love?

None of them.
I long ago stopped caring what other people think of me. I also know that having your own indiviual style and tastes is cooler than going along with a norm. For example, who is more "punk rock", someone who buys everything MTV tells them is punk, or someone who likes some punk bands but also likes pop, country, opera, rap, cheesy kid's songs or whatever yanks their crank to listen to?
That said, I will mercilessly tease some of my friends for liking mainstream music. The way I see it if they are so insecure about what people think of their tastes why should I not be opportunistic and try to teach them about music I like they might never discover any other way?

First I need to say that my father and I share my MP3 player, so he has songs he likes in his Folder, and my songs are in another folder.
Even so? I am not ashamed of anything stored in my MP3 Player, whether it's my father's or mine. Some people, yeah, when I let them listen to what I'm listening, it gives them the creeps, but I'm guessing it's mostly because I don't have an "I like rap" face/style/etc.., so having four Eminem CDs stored in it and stuck on automatic replay comes as a surprise to almost everyone I meet. That and songs from Enrique Iglesias ans the MIB soundtrack. Makes people go "whoa".

Smell Yo Dick by Riskay. I am thoroughly ashamed that I like that song. It's so catchy, but it's so, so stupid.
How Many Licks? by Lil Kim is a close second, though, that one I like because of a really funny AMV I saw. There's no excuse for liking Smell Yo Dick... XD

Hmmm, probably my Britney Spears songs. I only have them because they're covered by the Glee cast... and Oh, so catchy. It's so common to find a Britney Spears song stuck in my head that I just live with it now.

I have all kinds of shit since I listen to a number of genres. Might jump from metal to salsa and then to something ridiculous like the Jonas Brothers :P
Right now, it's Jethro Tull.

Holding out for a Hero - Bonnie Tyler is the main one really, I know the words; I tend to sing it out loud. It's not so much that it embarrasses me, it's just that people don't expect it. I also have Jennifer Saunders' cover from Shrek . . . which I actually prefer in some ways.
There's a lot more lurking on my mp3 that make it look something like a "best of the 80s" compilation. There's a lot of kpop lurking in the depths of my playlist too.

I was going to say the Rebecca Black song....but it's just way addicting, I can't even deny its catch and mundane lyrics.

The only songs that I will jump from my seat to change quickly if someone else is listening are "The Vagina Song" and "You're Pretty When I'm Drunk" and "Kiss Me Where it Smells Funny"... Ok basically ALL of the Bloodhound Gang songs I have. But if I'm stuck in traffic then that's a completely different story ;)

Britney Spears songs, fo shoo. Grew up with that girl, lol. It always makes me embarrassed though if I like a song that has too much mention of sex or violence in it though. What usually does the 'like' part is that it's really catchy xD Go figure...

Bloodhound Gang isn't a good thing to have on your play list especially when you're in the car on a first date with a pretty lady. XD That's about the only thing that I'll quickly switch if it comes on. Most other stuff I'm like "Yeah, I like bad music so sue me." XD

I used to feel embarassed when sappy songs would come on...but since Ive given up caring about what others think of me, I dont really care. Plus, 99% of the time, noone other than me can hear what music is being played. And the only time others MIGHT hear it, is when I need to max out the volume because kids in grades 7-10 get on the bus, and are pretty much yelling right beside me ear. Though, at that point I tend to find some of the heavier, darker music to turn up/on. Cradle of Filth at times like that, well, lets just say that with a look of "Get out of the way before I move you" on my face...it tends to get kids to either move away quietly, or to just move out of the way because Im trying to get off the bus. xD

There's a song I heard at the end of a Barbie movie. I don't really know its name. So I just named it 'Shine' on my own. I liked it so much I recorded the song from the DVD. But all my friends hate it so I never admit that I actually like it.
