Do any of you guys have that song you've listened to before that's just so freaking sad, it literally makes you almost want to cry? The lyrics are saddening? The video to it's sad? Do any you guys got a song like that? ...Post it. Here's mine. It never ends- BRING ME THE HORIZON
"In the arms of the angel". There's a humane society commercial here in the US where that songs while sad animals stare at you. I have to flip the channel when it comes on.
"I Will Follow You Into The Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie is a pretty depressing song. It's beautiful, though. I suggest everyone who hasn't heard it listen to it.
A song that makes me sad.....hm......um........ Ok so have you heard of Cowboy Bebop, well they have one of the best anime soundtracks I've ever heard. And the next song I'm gonna post is called Space Lion. It has no words and is basically lounge music. I found it to be a calming sad...the type of song you play wile writing or maybe even at a funeral. On the other hand it can somehow be seen as a love song of sorts one that you may even want to play at your wedding- though I'm sure the dance you may do to this song will be slow and fluid.
Anywho this song is like Water. Waves rushing over you and swallowing you whole almost drowning you, it's very passionate.
I know of a lot of songs like that, but for me, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the song itself, but the memories I associate with it. Most of the time, I'll hear a song that I first discovered/became obsessed with a number of years ago, and then I'll start thinking about that time in my life, and start wishing I could go back to then. I also have a lot of songs that aren't necessarily sad, but I associate them with people and events in the past, and when I hear them, that's automatically what I think about... of course, over the years, the emotions evoked by some of those have changed somewhat.
The only song that I can think of that actually makes me cry because of the song itself is "My Heart Will Go On" (from Titanic). And a few from Epica, such as "Safeguard to Paradise."
There's this song, called "Someday We'll Know" (the duet, not the original one), that just gives me this very mellow un-stressy feeling when I listen to it. It's a very sad song, I think, the theme is loss of a loved one. There's also "If You're Not The One" because I'm super cheesy and lame.
The song 'Fragile' by Kerli kind of has that effect on me. It reminds me a lot of how I used to be and feel. But, on the flip side it makes me happy that I'm no longer in that situation. There are a few other songs that I can't think of that I like but make me depressed =/
I always feel really sad after listening to the song 'F**king Perfect' by Pink and 'Fix You' by Coldplay. The songs themselves are not sad, they're beautiful, but personally, I just get really saddened when I listen to them. The first time I heard 'F**king Perfect' by Pink, I did shed a tear.
However, no song saddens me more than 'The Day I Died' by Just Jack. It's telling the story of a man who is living an ordinary day (going to work, getting his kids up, having lunch, etc.) but this day is better than a normal day, everything is going his way. The final verse is about him heading home to see his wife and children, and getting hit by a taxi. This song always makes me feel really sad when I listen to it, because although the chorus is uplifting as is the majority of the song, all I can think about is his family members and how on the best ordinary day of his life, it was cut short. It's a very thought provoking song, one which I can never truly appreciate fully due to my own personal feelings about it.
Out of all the songs that I listen to, 'Photograph' by Nickelback is the first one that comes to mind. It's a song about looking back fondly on memories of the past and saying goodbye to certain memories and moving on. Lately, I've been okay while listening to it, but a few months ago, I couldn't even listen to it without getting teary-eyed. There's been a lot of change and loss in my life in the past few years and a lot of memories that I want to hold onto, so I guess that's why I get upset when listening to it. I love the song, though. I used to play it over and over. But I just won't listen to it if I don't have to anymore.
I have a lot of them, but most make me remember some one who passed away and make me cry.
But then again im also a sensitive person when it comes to music...
lol
but one that makes me cry is
Four becomes One- Hawthorne Heights
When you gone- Avril L..... yeah i dont know how to spell her last name
Saihate- Rockleetist english version of Hatsune Miku's original japanese version
I can't get through 'Waltz Moore' by From First To Last without crying.
Same thing with 'Life Is Simple In The Moonlight' by The Strokes, if I'm having a bad day it makes me tear up.
