Pretty basic if you ask me. Just list some genres or a couple bands that you like.

Techno
My favourite genre is probably Techno/Electronica. I like how danceable it is and it just moves me. More often then not I don't have to worry about horrible language or lyrics like I do with rock or Rap/Hip-Hop. Rap is likely my least favourite because it's horribly commercialized to make people stupid. They purposefully use horrible lyrics and ideals to attain a certain audience, but they affect other people by it they don't realize. It's a shitty spin-off of Hip-Hop and defiles it's roots. |
I prefer jrock than anything else.

i love Hard rock and Alternative and metal...mostly all kindof rock music from different countrys if they are good. ^^
i also like techno.. i like everykind of music...but i cant live with out my rock music! DX |
there's just such a large variety of music i do
enjoy, i just can't label them as the same genre. alternative, classic rock, oldies [50's] some techno. also rockabilly, country [i.e. patsy cline], old big bands etc. as you can see i don't stick to just one label :] |
I prefer lots of Asian music so the type of Asian music I like come under J-pop where its really upbeat, happy or even excruciatingly bouncy that it maybe somewhat on the border of anime pop. Or some J-rock is good like alternative J-rock or goth rock with Victorian elements and classical instruments. J-urban can be cool to something like underground rap where the lyrics will be mixed with various languages ^^
As for English music, I like diva music where there is vocal prowess being shown ^__^ |

Classical, instrumental, country, j-rock, goth rock, heavy metal, opera (yes, i love it XD), country, and that's about it... For some reason I got tired of listening to pop, rnb, rap, and hip-hop... :-/

I can't narrow it down to just one. I like alt-country, dreampop, showgaze, old school goth, batcave, deathrock, brit-pop, alternative, nerd-rap, old country, industrial, indie (that doesnt suck)....yeah
