I'm learning guitar. some of the fingerings are tricky, so I need to work on it!

I've gotten back into guitar, was on hiatus for a bit since my other guitar decided it didn't want its bridge anymore. I'm playing on a Mitchell MD100S acoustic now, and the difference in sound between this guitar and the other one (not sure of the make/model, it looks like a knockoff hummingbird and it's been in my fiancee's family for a while). I'm learning quickly though, I've already figured out the basics of tapping and other such techniques that I didn't know before the other guitar kicked the bucket.

I've taken up trying to play the erhu. It's pretty hard. It's a two-stringed, bowed instrument, and I can't stop making squeaky-bathroom-door/cat-crying-really-loud noises. But I'm slowly learning! You should search YouTube for videos, cause it's really cool to hear.

I played Alto Sax from 5th grade to 12th grade. :< I took up trumpet on the side in 11th grade. I'm in college now and I haven't played since.. I don't know if I remember how to.

I used to be in Marching Band but I HATED it. XD I didn't like having 4 hour practices and having to play outside reguardless of the weather. It was pouring outside once and the band teacher made us stay outside. I had to replace all the pads in my saxophone afterwards because they pretty much got ruined from the rain. =/ Partially my fault though because I didn't let it dry out properly. x_x

Hmm... when I was a grade school student, we played the recorder, and i tried playing the guitar, but didn't quite get the hang of it...

Now I play the violin (which means I can play the viola :) ) and the piano and hopefully I can play the cello in the near future...

As for bands, I'll be auditioning for the school orchestra, and if given the chance to play in a band, i'd be violinist and/or keyboardist (and hopefully vocalist :D)

I love this question, lol. I adore music, and I'm constantly looking for new instruments to buy/learn.

First off, I play in my school's concert and jazz bands, as well as sing and play accompaniment for choir. I taught myself everything except flute.

Here's a list of what I can play:

Flute (Didn't start until the summer before sixth grade, and I had to work my butt off to catch up to the others who had started in fourth grade)
Piccolo
Tenor Sax
Alto Sax
Clarinet
Trumpet (Though not very well, as I never actually owned one)
French Horn (Again, not very well. Brass is not my forte, lol.)
Piano
Bass Clarinet
Percussion (And by this I mean things like various drum things and mallet percussion. I only wish I could play drum set.)
Guitar

In terms of guitar, I play very little. My hands are too small to fit around the neck of the guitar I have. Therefore it gets used as a bass guitar. Sort of. I play bass lines on it, more like.

I hope to be a music ed major when I go to college next year, so I can learn things like oboe. And how to play trumpet properly. XD

I play the guitar and violin but I'm still learning how to play.

I play the piano (intermediate) and the violin (beginner).

in order of learning them:
violin [my main instrument, working towards getting a performer's liscence.. hopefully. >_>!]
recorder [rofl grade 4]
oboe [started in grade 7 and played 'til grade 10.]
bassoon [started in grade 11, switched from oboe. i wanted to try this out and it's freaking awesome!]
flute [i can play.. a bit. learned embouchure on glass bottles XD]
french horn [again, i can do the embouchure but getting the notes.. questionable]

er, and i also mess around with piano and the tromboon. and inserting bassoon reeds into various other wind instruments. >w>;

I played the Clarinet in band for 5 years. I also self taught myself piano (using a really large fingering chart that went behind the keys ^^; ). I also sing on Rockband when we play in groups, and I currently now have a flute which I practice playing pieces I print off the internet. (Mainly video game and anime pieces. :) )

well i started voice when i was 5 1/2 and i have be doing voice for 10 years now.
i started clarinet when i was 7 1/2 and it is now my 8th year on clarinet.
i taught myself the piano when i was 13 a year later i taught myself the guitar and last year i taught myself the flute. i intend to learn trumpet, drums, bass guitar and the violin

I'm usually just vocals. It counts as an instrument. However, I can play the piano/keyboard. But it's a hidden skill that not many people know about me. Mostly because I don't play it often. I also took violin lessons for a little while when I was younger. I've by far now forgotten how to play it however. I had to give it up because my mother pawned it off to get money to move. I was so pissed. .___. Dad bought me another one, but by then, I just didn't enjoy playing it.

I can play the piano...just poorly... I took lessons till I was in sixth grade. That's when I started playing the flute at school

Now I still play the flute in wind ensemble and marching band. XD

I play piano and percussion (mainly the bells, timpani, crash cymbals etc. Never the snare of base drum though)

I'm in our adv High school band, We play so many different types of songs, I love them all

I can barely claim that I play guitar. Although I just love shredding and doing arpeggios and scales really fast... Usually botched until I practice.

In May, toward the end of the month, I will be performing at a recital for the Arts of the Albemarle in North Carolina. I teach piano and drums, and the teachers are encouraged to play. I plan to perform Mozart's Fantasy in D minor, and (if they let me play two songs) the third movement from Beethoven's Sonata no. 6 in F major. Unfortunately, you can't find that one on youtube. I've looked, so maybe I'll have my wife tape me, and I'll put it up on youtube for the world to see how awesome that song is.

I know how to play the oboe and keyboard.
And soon I am going to start taking guitar lessons.
Hopefully in Autumn.

Right now, I am in my school band.
But right now my friends and I may make a band and I might play the keyboard for it.

I used to play flute for my school band, but I quit because I sucked. I couldn't hit the high notes at all. :/

I play the clarinet, and a little bit of the piano.

I do like to play some classics and slow flowing pieces. However I have a harder time keeping up with an upbeat sort of song. I like mostly classics and I am currently playing in a band and prefer to keep it that way, but I would like to expand on my music a little more.

I've been playing the bagpipes for 4 years now with my Air Cadet squadron's Pipes and Drums band.
