Hmm....as seems a trend, I've played piano for 14 years, and I can also somewhat play the violin and trombone. Playing all three together though would be a challenge.

I can read music for and play the piano. However, I've been in a musical slump that way and have not touched my piano in months. You can see the dust on the seat.... Crap, now I'm sad and want to go cheer my piano up. MY PIANO SHOULD NOT BE SO LONELY. I'm attached to my piano (despite the whole not playing it thing) because, despite the fact that it's old and wearing down and some of the keys no longer produce sound, it is the first instrument that I ever learned how to play, and it is what got me into music all around.

I can play songs on the violin by ear; however, I can not read music for the violin, although I'm sure I could pick it up if I wanted to. However, I am in a musical slump with my violin, as well. I am not as attached to my violin as I am to my piano, however, so it doesn't pain me quite that much. To be honest, my parents are the one who love my violin, not me so much.

And lastly, I am learning how to play the guitar, with the aid of Hal Leonard's Guitar Method. It is coming along quite well, and I can now plink out Ode to Joy and Danny Boy. I know, I know, it's lame compared to the potential the guitar has to be played. But as a newbie to guitar, I am proud of myself nonetheless, and want to continue learning this instrument! :D My inspiration for learning how to play the guitar is definitely the singer\songwriter KT Tunstall. I love all of her songs. I can listen to them any time and feel happy.

I started off with trumpet back in 5th grade. (whoa, that was about 7 years ago!) and I still play trumpet in our school band. Yay! lol.

This last february, i started learning the flute. Not to toot my own horn (bahaha, punny, no?) but I actually think i sound halfway decent on my flute. I can play the Magic Flute and songs no one has ever heard of but we had in our band room at school for solo contest. :D I'm still no good at college fight songs. Yet. :P I've been practicing them so I can get better. The reason I think i'm having trouble with them is because of how fast they go and I end up hesitating or forgetting what key i'm in. iFail

A long time ago I used to play the following instruments:
Clarinet, bass clarinet, and flute.

I'd started to pick up Trumpet, Drums, and even tried the Guitar but eventually I just fell out of playing music myself. Didn't exactly have the ability to make time for it anymore.

I think it must be about 3 or 4 years ago when I started playing. Back then I had a normal drumset, but meanwhile I own a e-drumset :cool:
In my personal opinion it's cooler to play on e-drum, than on a normal drumset.

Of course it's alway funny to play normal, but when it's electronic you can modify your drumkits/sound. :boogie:

I play most of the usual rock band instruments, bass and guitar and piano. And if it's a emergency i can play drums too, but im not a drummer. I also sing, and im usually playing the solo guitar.

I've had many bands, and the current one is the best so far. We're all crazy, so we get along fine. Im singing and playing the solo guitar. We have bass, another guitar and drums, and we have few songs with keyboard, and i play those parts. We play hc punk rock. Like the 80's finnish shit but in a more popular way.
My dream is a cliché: i want to be a rock star, kick everyones ass, smash a guitar on the stage and play on a stadium to a full crowd.
But the main reason for playing in a band is that artists get free beers on the backstage. And girls. : D

I play the piano, guitar, and flute. But in my opinion, piano is most fun for mee. Flute always gave me headache if I played too long.. Is it suppose to happen ? lol.

I play the piano, guitar, recorder, and I am also a singer. I love playing the guitar. I am learning how to play drums as well. I've been singing since I was little, I love to sing. My mom taught me how to play the piano when I was 10 because she promised if I learned how to I could take guitar lessons. And I learned how to play the recorder in school.

I play guitar, acoustic. Started when I was sixteen and I'm 20 now, so it's been some time. I've never been in a band but I've thought about it from time to time, but to be honest I don't really have enough time. I think I started to play just learn the song Beauty by Tegan and Sara for my little brother. lol ;-D
