For a while, I thought the "Popping Champagne" part said "In a jet plane." xD

I have two. ^^
One was when I was about four, and I loved Pocahontas. The song that goes ''They're savages, savages, dirty rotten savages..'' Yeah. I thought that the 'Savages' bit actually said, 'Cabbages'. ..Aand I sang it that way.
..It made my mom laugh a lot. ^^;
Also, I keep getting Smells like Teen Spirit by Nirvana wrong. The chorus? I don't really know what it DOES go like, but I always hear it saying 'A potato! A tomato! A mosquito. And a vito, YEAH!' ><

Yes. The song "Elegy" by Leaves' Eyes.
When she sings, "Silent tears of a woman," I thought she said, "Silent tears of a moonlight." I thought that it was a great line, but when you read the lyrics... it didn't make sense.

I could never understand the lyrics to "Wishmaster", by Nightwish. Tarja has too heavy of an accent while singing the begining of it. I keep hearing the name "Steven Segal" in there.

In L'arc~en~Ciel's "Spirit Dreams Inside", there a part where I swear Hyde's saying "Trying to play in the waves", but it's actually "Take the pain away".
And I believe it's already been mentioned, but Clever Sleazoid by Dir en Grey has hilarious misheard lyrics. "Let's get a smoothie. Crust my arm!"
Some of their other songs sound terribly wrong as well. Such as in The Deeper Vileness - "I know people say: why do you walk my cat?"
In Oh My Juliet by LM.C, there's a bit that sounds like "I am the 4chan troll".
And lastly, in Miyavi's "Are you Ready to Love?" I hear "love is a ready biscuit".
I adore mishear lyrics. =D

I enjoy taking japanese songs and subbing them with what I think they are saying. xD it can be quite funny sometimes because they actually sound like they are speaking english just a bunch of random words. xD

I hear lyrics wrong all the time. XD
Lots of Alanis Morissette ones, too.
Here are some of them...
From "Head Over Feet"
Quote:
|
Don't be alarmed if I fall...
|
I heard "Don't be a lonely fifer" XD
From "You Oughtta Know"
Quote:
|
The cross I bare that you've given me
|
I heard "The cross-eyed bear that you've given me"
Also, the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Torture Me"
Quote:
|
All the leaves are turning brown
|
I heard "Condoleeza's turning brown" XDDDD
And their song "She's Only 18"
Quote:
|
You've got some glitter on your kitty at the discotheque
|
I heard "You've got some glitter on your titty of discontent" XD
Not that what he really said makes much more sense...

Yup, I've heard lyrics wrong. Like...
"Lithium" by Nirvana.
The line, "I kill you/I'm not gonna crack,"
and I thought it was, "I kill you/And I'm not on crack."
xD

I don't know if any of you have heard of Notre Dame de Paris but it's basically a musical version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the original musical was in French. Well in one song Quasimodo says the line:
Quote:
|
Un oiseau qui étend ses ailes pour s'envoler
|
In the beginning it sounds to me like he says "Un Sukie...". I know that it's not much, but I just can't get him saying that name out of my head, but then again I watch way too much Gilmore Girls.

misheard lyrics? oh yes, just now. In the song "Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?" by Rammstein, i misheard the third sencence, i thought it said "Ihr wollt doch auch den Deutchen schlagen stecken"
wich doesn't isn a good german sentence at all, the real text was:
"Ihr wollt doch auch den dolch ins laken stecken"
wich is something comepletely diffrent... =.=

I had one, but it isn't funny. In the Beatles' 'She's Leaving Home', I thought they said 'She leaving home after living a lie' when they really said 'Living alone'.

I swear there's a line in Descent of the Archangel by Kamelot that says "amber thighs".
...And I refuse to look at the lyrics to correct myself because it's sooooo very amusing.

Yes, sometimes. Then I go look up what the lyrics are and find three different versions of it. Like Everlast's "What it's like". As well as butthole sufers "Pepper"(which is their only good song). There is also the whole bleeping out the swear words, and sometimes half a line. That's never fun.

...This is a REALLY silly and stupid one, I'm afraid.
I was playing Rock band at my friend's house and we chose random setlist. Train Kept A Rollin’ by Aerosmith came on, but I didn't see the title. So, we're playing, her on drums, me on guitar, and we're doing pretty well. then the main chorus came on, and I FROZE. I just totally stopped.
And I was like, "...Is he saying 'drink pepperoni all night long'!?" And then my friend started laughind really hard at me, and kindly explained that he was saying 'train kept a rollin' all night long'. I felt really dumb, needless to say.
And of course, When I Grow Up by The Pussycat Dolls. I thought it was:
Quote:
When I grow up
I wanna be famous
I wanna be a star
I wanna be in movies
When I grow up
I wanna see the world
Drive nice cars
I wanna have boobies
|
But they weren't saying boobies, they were saying groupies. :( Totally ruined the song for me. I thought it was so funny before I found out what they were really saying.
Come to think of it, I misheard ALOT of lyrics in that song. o_o

^^ That happened to me.
I remember the first time I heard Sugar We're Going Down by Fall Out Boy.
The line was, "We're going down, down in an earlier round."
and I heard two different things.
The first time I heard, "We're going down now, nanananana now."
the second time I heard, "We're going down down, like a merry go round."
So wrong.
