  • Yes, i'm talking about the purely humanoid circus. If you have no clue about Cirque, go look it up and watch some videos. Seriously. They're amazing.

But i'm not here to say much about their performances. Has anyone realized that they have extremely good music presented in a way that most Americans at least somehow like. It's....i'm not quite sure. If you havn't listened to any of the music, then go attempt to find some. A large amount of the pieces can be kinda infectious.

I have the CDs for all the performances on my computer. ~ <3

    Anyone else like Cirque music?

I have the CD for Varekai. I thought I had another one too but I can't find it in my collection.

I'm actually not hugely fond of most of the tracks. But generally I do like the music - just not as much on that particular soundtrack. On the other hand, I downloaded Allegria from somewhere and I LOVE it. That one gets stuck in my head all the time.

My friend's friend is working there D:

Anyway XD I like the musc in general but I think it's better when you actually see the performance, if you know what I mean. It's like PotC soundtrack for me - it's great in the movie but when you listen to it later it seems to be lacking something.

Cirque du Soleil music is the best! Alegria and Dralion have the best music in my opinion, although that might be because I just like the style used in those performances more than the music used in others. Alegria is just amazing... words can't describe it. Although there's a funny youtube video of the singer falling off the stage while singing during one performance. Hehe, I would never have the courage to perform in front of so many people like her, so I really shouldn't be laughing, but it was pretty funny.

Anyway, while I really like Cirque's music, I'll have to admit the music is better in the actual shows. A lot of the music is filled with tension and that works a lot better while you're watching the performers flying through the air than when you're sitting around at your desk. I dunno... it just has a better effect. Check out the youtube video of the trapeze act from Dralion to know what I'm talking about.
