I love alice nine. <3 (And the boys are goobers xD)


My first song was Fantasy, and at first I didn't like them as much as GazettE, but now they steamrolled over that.

I like Saga. 8D He is love. XD And that is all.

Favorite song?

My favorite song of theirs is Velvet, though it's bittersweet. My friend and I stayed up one night and watched the PV 23 times. The friend and I aren't so much friends anymore, so the song sort of upsets me.. but I still love it, you know? <3

How long have you listened to them?

Umm.. xD About 2 years? Less than that actually. Like a year and a half maybe. :P

Its kinda funny that Q. has the best Engrish in it out of pretty much all they're songs xD (I seriously didn't know Kowloon or White Prayer had Engrish til I looked up the lyrics <_<; And I'm -positive- Tsubasa has Engrish in it.)

Why yes, yes they are xD

I can't say I really like all of Alice nines stuff. As far as sound goes they're not that great, they have a few good songs, but there are a lot better visual kei bands out there. Shou just doesn't have enough power or emotion in his voice to move me, and their music is very mainstream sounding...not a horid band, yet not original.

Sorry the response is so late~ ; o; I had some things to take care of on the 11th, the 12th was my birthday, and I've been out all day. XD Haven't had time to get on Menewsha much. D:

But! xD Yeah, the engrish in Q. is pretty good. At least you can TELL it's english. :D It's always helpful if you can tell what language it's in.

Saga is sexy. :O I'm not usually into, uh.. men that don't look like women. XD But Saga can defy that law.

Yes, 23 times! 8D It was lots of fun, haha. We picked out favorite parts of it to watch for and everything. I believe we fell asleep during the 24th run though~. ; o;

And now.. I want to go watch the Velvet PV. Haha. ♥


ETA: I think Shou's voice is very pretty and moving. D: I think it's a little distant, maybe, but I think it sounds good that way. ♥ It gives me a certain feeling, and it's a good one for me. :>

Agreed on Shou's voice though <3 I heard Ruri No Ame for the first time last night (I'd only seen the PV on my moms computer, which doesn't have speakers, because mine had crashed) and I CRIED ;_; I felt like his voice turned me into a puddle xD

Well, that depends on what you prefer, softer or harder songs. xD


For the hard stuff..Yami Ni Chiru Sakura, Kowloon aaaaand 13 are pretty good.


But for the softer stuff....Fantasy, Ruri No Ame and Armor Ring are good <3


Tsubasa, White Prayer and Jewels are real good too :3

I hope that I'm not necroing just to step on toes, but alice nine. is very bittersweet with me.

Shou's voice had grated on me for a long while, and I was never sure why, and it still does for some songs to this day. However, I do think that Shou has an emotional voice, and I love the deepness. The music has never seemed the best, but then again, it's always been, once again, emotional.

To me, alice nine. is very raw (although recently becoming better). They aren't a band I would judge on talent, although don't get me wrong--I'm not saying they don't have any talent, but I prefer to think of them as a force, if that makes sense. They touch me but not in a musical sense. It's pure emotion.

I really hope that all makes sense. XD It's hard for me to explain my feelings for alice nine. to people. x_x

Favorite member and why? Tora, I just empathize more with him than any of the other members, and I think he's an amazing guitarist.

Q, it's an amazing song.

How long have you listened to them?

Around 6-7 months? I took me a long while to get into this band because it took a long while for Shou's style of singing to grow on me. Once they grew out of their young visual kei days they appealed more.

Akatsuki, a long long time ago.

Saga. Because his ability to go from total dorkiness to total sexiness is amazing.

Q and several of Tora's heavier songs.

And like a lot of other people it seems, I really hated Shou's voice until I had a sudden epiphany, and it was all love after that.

And I will pretend that epiphany had absolutely nothing to do with Saga and his bass.

I like Alice Nine and all but they haven't taken my attention as much as certain other bands. But they're definately a little on my limewire.

My friend turned me on to Alice Nine...yesterday.

I love Akatsuki! I'm using it as my song for music class.

I really liked lyrics of Number Six when I read them in English, and the song itself is awesome too.

I think my first song was either Fantasy or Jewels.

And Saga is smexy.
