I think it would be interesting to see ideas people have for band names. Here are a few I've thought of.

Me and my best friend in 7th grade tried singing together and we called our selfs A.J after our first names. Then in 8th grade we called our selfs Real Love. Halfway through 8th we changed our name to The Mail Order Express.

We quit in high school. It was only me and my best friend, but it was fun. We really had some weird band names

A friend of mine and I wanted to make a psychadelic/pop band called The Feel Good Chemicals for years, but we never did.

The Rare Glowing Northern Antarctic Forest Squids or RGNAFS for short. Might use that one if I feel like creating a side project with my terror ebm songs.

I always thought I'd like to see somebody name a metal band with the word Teacups in it because that's just plain kicka$$. I dunno maybe I'm just a wierdo, but I'm proud of it. :twisted:

My friend and I wanted to have a band called Dork Factor for a while. Or Caged.

And my other friend wanted to start a band with me called Basement Dweller. Or The Basement Gamers. Or The Talking Clocks.

My friend and I decided that if I was ever in a band I would call it THE VIKIS

My sister and I wanted to start a band. We would call it Dubbing Dakota, or something... We had a few more names, but that one stuck.

In grade like... four, I was in a "band" called Love's Companions. xP

My friends and I have a fake emo band called The Distant Tree. Our first album is The Internet, and the first single off of it is My MySpace Girlfriend (Dumped Me Last Night).

Other band names that have come up in conversation at various times are The Spontaneous Maggots, The Flaming Splints, The Hideous Boots, Friends With Benefits, The Advertising Men, Nudis Verbis, The Lindley Rule, Apocop', Spectral Apples, and The Rubber Mermaids... there are more, I'm sure, but yeah xD

My and my sister have always wanted to make a death metal rap duo called Amaze-Windu. Hehe.

In high school, my friend and I made up a band called Random Mutation. We even made a song list with all biology and genetics themed titles.

The Guitar Hero band name I'm using now is Mookitty.

Being that me and all my friends play instruments, we always fantasize about making a band. Names include.

Haha this is what I do when I'm bored! Make up band names, I mean. I'm really into the name 'The Shriekies'.

Like, if I were gonna be in a band I would probably throw a fit at my friends until they let me use that name! Because think about it. THINK OF THE POTENTIAL AWESOME ALBUM ART. It would be all jagged letters. I wanna start a band just for that name; too bad I only play saxophone!

My sisters and I came up with the name Braindead in Tokyo if we ever made a band together. And a groups of ma freiends have a made up bands called Stagflation.

I'v also really liked Car Lot.

Well one that pops just due to they people where I heard this from want to actually make a group called this to make filk music, Frodo's Head(if I recall right)

My future band name is going to be "On the rag dolls" we also thought about using "Hard crusty cookies", "Invisible lassies", "Joystick", and "Encrusted with mustard seeds". "On the rag dolls" suits us best though.
