I'm starting to get into Korean pop, but I don't know where to begin. I love r&b and pop music--does anyone have any recommendations? :3

I've heard a lot of the more popular artists, so it'd be great if someone could give me a few underrated ones to check out. :)

@Eastriel: I never really got into DBSK, but Se7en is awesome ^^ And hmm..I think my favorite K-drama is either Full House or Coffee Prince <33

@Siri: Oh there's a whole bunch! Mainly I only listen to Big Bang and 2NE1 though. :P Before 2NE1 I listened to Wonder Girls, though. ^^ I usually dislike girly girl groups but their music is really addicting. xD Oh and I recommend listening to G-Dragon's new album if you haven't. It's really good<3

Music that is amazing! Would have to be Wonder Girls, SNSD/Girls Generation(Gee and Tell Me Your Wish), KARA, 2NE1, TVXQ/DBSK, Super Junior, Se7en, Big Bang(some songs), 8eight(their songs are really beautiful), 4minute, and the most amazing of them all is BoA!

Fav dramas are most def Goong/Princess Hours, Boys Before Flowers, and Coffee Prince ><

K-pop is really amazing. It is what I mostly listen to.

Wonder Girls has dragged me into liking K-Pop.

I was going to say that my first ever Korean song I loved was by Huang YiDA (Set Me Free). But I looked him up and saw he was Chinese. Oops.

Gah... K-Pop is amazing.
I think I just uploaded about 100 K-Pop songs to my iTunes within the last week or so...
Super Junior is absolute love.
And 2PM is absolute sex.
Oh, and I absolutely love G-Dragon's new album, Heartbreaker. Big Bang solo stuff is amazing <333

@Dainty: Yida Huang is amazing, despite him being a Taiwanese artist and not K-pop. You should look up his Chou Nan Ran (Jerk). And there's a lot of other good Taiwanese artists.

I love K-pop as well.. Big Bang, Wonder Girls, Rain. I'm beginning to like 2NE1, so much hype on them. 2PM (Hot) & Super Junior.
And I love watching Happy Together, it's sooo funny.
I love Boys Over Flowers and The Man of the Vineyard.

I think groups signed under YG Entertainment have a more R&B flow to them, such as Big Bang and 2NE1. As for pop, I'd recommend groups under SM Entertainment, like Super Junior, DBSK, SNSD, and SHINee.

OMG I <3 KOREAN POP

I must admit that I'm not completely immersed in it 100% of the time, but it's defiantly worth listening to! My favorites are Super Junior, SNSD, and Bi-Rain. TI know there are a lot more that are just as good but all of those are amazing for sure! This makes me want to go listen to them now :D
