I hate ICP. There are two or three songs that I find entertaining and I used to sort of like them... then I realized that they're talentless sellouts who try to do what Marilyn Manson has already done and fail miserably. :\

And I think the whole juggalo thing is quite stupid.

C0NTRA 05-05-2008 03:16 AM

No thanks.
Hate it with a passion.

And anyone who feels like "no one understands them" needs to get their head out of their ass, realize that things could be one fuck of a lot worse, and make the most out of their situation,
instead of relying on someone or something else to do it.
Kids are fucking pathetic, anymore. No wonder the world's going to hell, with these weaklings slowly becoming the majority.

FrostsHellion 05-05-2008 01:32 PM

And the ignorant chime in, as regular as clockwork...

Fabby: "what marilyn manson has already done"? I take it you have NO idea what marilyn manson has done with his actual career. I bet you're one of those people who actually believes he had two of his ribs removed so he could give himself head... and honestly, talentless sell-outs? Have you seen their music videos? people who sell out usually have better budgets and bigger touring schedules... you know, like EVERY rapper i hear on the radio who comes from the streets and understands the problems of the people and whos raps are now just extended lists of all the sh*t they bought with their money before they moved out of the hood and went to LA... I could keep going on and on about the hypocritical crap that spews out of the sewer that is the mainstream media but thats the best part of being a juggalo... I can listen to your opinion and i dont have to be bothered by it, you're entitled to it, i just wish people like you put as much time into educating yourself as you put into assuming things.

Contra: ...ok fabby, you're officially not that bad anymore. At least you apparently can read and you pay attention. The carnival is all about accepting people and understanding that we all have the same problems, so why would we let stupid sh*t get in the way of us all being a family. you say the worlds going to hell, i say maybe we're all finally just getting our heads out of our caves and being real people... but like i said before, you're entitled to your opinion no matter how ill-informed it may be.

MMFWCL to everybody, even if they dont like what i gotta say.

Why should they need the idea of a "family" to encourage that from them?
They should be willing to do it, themselves.
Without a certain kind of music.
Without other people.
Without a message.
Just to better themselves, and their lives.

Fabby 05-08-2008 12:16 PM

@FrostsHellion-- For someone who has just gone off about how "ignorant" I am, you seem to have a good bit of it yourself. Disliking a band doesn't make you ignorant, sweetheart. I'm the one who yells at everyone for believing Marilyn Manson got his ribs removed. :\ You take it wrong-- I am fairly informed as to his career path.

Yes. They definitely did sell out, and as far as I'm concerned there isn't much talent there either. I haven't seen their music videos, as I do not watch music videos. Their lack of funds is probably due to the fact that the people who hate them in the world far outnumber the people who like them. For every one Juggalo I talk to, I talk to 10 more people that completely hate them and their whole "culture". They did sell out. Don't pretend like you've never seen all the stupid, bullshit publicity stunts they pulled.

And here you go on a pointless unrelated rant about mainstream rap?

I also listen to opinions and I think people are entitled to their own opinion. Being a Juggalo has absolutely nothing to do with that. Your final statement is simply hypocrisy in its purest form.

I never enjoyed ICP at all. They bug me. :|

Kushinada 05-15-2008 10:07 PM

My boyfriend in high school liked them. I alway liked that Spin the bottle song and the bit about Faygo (which is yummy btw) in one of the songs. (♪Send ya momma...♪) Other than that I never got into them. Did go with him to a show in 2002...had to throw away my shoes there was so much faygo in them...

serafim_azriel 05-16-2008 11:13 PM

I like ICP, in fact, I even consider myself a Juggalo, but I, like others hear get annoyed by Juggalos. Mind, only the superficial ones who say they're down because their friends are down or because it's 'cool' or rebellious or some such rubbish. The kind that claim family, but will stab you in the back for no reason other than they feel like it.
And I think those are the type of Juggalos most people think of because they seem to be, for the most part, the most loud, crass and violent and aren't just a juggalo, but they have to let everyone know that they are. Whether they see behind the violence or not.
The coolest Juggalo I know, I didn't know he was actually a juggalo for awhile. Though I wasn't surprised to find out he was. And the most annoying 'juggalette' I know just recently became one because everyone she was hanging out with was one and she didn't understand the concept of family (much less other things like honesty or integrity).

@C0ntra- The need for 'family' is for the basic human need to belong to something. Juggalos generally consider themselves among the fringes, so to speak. Not necessarily alone, but not the popular choice. Family gives us a place to belong. It's a good feeling to walk up to someone you don't know and talk to them and not be afraid.

@Fabby- Yes, ICP is very shock oriented. I think it's funny though that you say they're trying to do the same thing as Marilyn Manson, because they started a year before him, looking like they always have. And Marilyn Manson himself, while I don't always like his music, does a good amount of good things as a person. I'm curious as to why you say they've sold out.
(I agree to an extent, though it's because they've gone to MTV and the action figures/toys and such, which, at some point, most artists will do if they get the chance. It makes money. Can't blame them for wanting money. Everyone does.)

iSteve 07-03-2009 05:29 PM

I really don't understand the whole Juggalos thing.
it's kind of annoying to be honest.
I guess it's cute, that one band has so many followers and they do pretty much whatever the band suggests, but I mean, it's not like a band should follow a band so religiously.
that's why religion was invented.

Then again, that's just me, people are entitled to their opinions and religious followings.
It's not like everyone who listens to them is a juggalo though, which I guess is a plus.

1. Do you listen to ICP? Never
2. Do you like there form of music? Not for me, but it's a breakthrough, one could say.
3. If so what do you like about it? n/a
4. If no why don't you? It's just kind of irritating to me, to each his own I suppose
5. Have you been to any concerts? nah.
7. Would you paint up for a concert? ...

YOU AIN'T DOWN WITH DA KLOWN?

poet`s playground 07-04-2009 02:11 AM

I'm not interested in them really, but around here there are a lot of people who are. And I see graffiti about them. But apparently one of the guys was in a local record store and bought a whole bunch of records to I guess sample? I'm not really sure... but I guess they're from around here so yeah.
