I haven't seen ICP threads/topics and the question struck me "Does anyone on Menewsha listen to ICP??" So I thought I would find out!

Here are a few questions for passers by:

1. Do you listen to ICP?
2. Do you like there form of music?
3. If so what do you like about it?
4. If no why don't you?
5. Have you been to any concerts?
6. Did you in joy the concert?
7. Would you paint up for a concert?

I never did find the time to find out what a Juggalo was.

What in the world is a juggalo?
I've heard about them once or twice on Gaia, and to say the least, I was a tad bit frightened.
Yes, I've heard of the ICP, my friend used to be obsessed with them when we were in grade school.
To me, the only thing I've gotten out of what people tell me, is that a juggalo is some insane person who tends to be on the larger side >>;;

A juggalo or juggalette(which is the female version if you didnt already guess)is a type of person that listens to ICP and feels that they have family basicly(this is only in my opinion) a juggalo is another word for saying family or homies or groupies.

I see. I wasn't sure if it had a more intense meaning or not. Kind of sounds like a label really.
I've never really listened to Insane Clown Posse yet.

a juggalo is not alwase on the "larger side" there are some very skinny/tiny juggalos/lettes as i said before its just a way of saying that your someones family

I don't understand what this has to do with music. I get that it's talking about people who listen to ICP, but if that's the case, the thread needs to be about ICP. Not juggalos or whatever.

I'm a lette, are there any Juggalos or Juggalettes out there?? I'm just curious because when I was on Gaia at first it seemed like there weren't any at all, but then I did a search and it seemed like they came from nowhere. Family is awesome!!

Heh, sometimes I like to call myself a juggalo. (I'm a girl, but I don't like the term juggalette, so I'm just a juggalo.) I like ICP in any case. I really enjoyed their latest album, The Tempest.

A Juggalo is BASICALLY the term for a fan of any Psychopathic Records "bands" (mainly Insane Clown Posse or ICP for short) But to the Juggalos it means a lot more than just a lable, at least to most, and I understand where you come from with the not liking the term "Juggalette" Chexala, so it's a good thing it doesn't matter :D cuz it means the same thing, and actually did you know that even ICP doesn't like the term Juggalette?? lol I just call myself a Juggalette because it's funner to say 'lette than 'lo XD

Do you listen to ICP? Heck Yes! I also listen to Twiztid, ABK, Subnoize Soljas (sp?), Dark Lotus... pretty much anything Psychopathic

Do you like there form of music? Yes, duh

If so what do you like about it? It's so much more...different than anything else out there. It's unique and if you are a Juggalo, you've always been a juggalo, even if you don't listen to ICP yet, it calls to you

Have you been to any concerts? Yup, only one tho...They aren't coming to MN for Hallowicked T-T

Did you in joy the concert? Hell Yeah!! It was SOOOO much fun, my mom took me and she's been to several others and she said it was more fun than any of the others she's been to

Would you paint up for a concert? Yup, I came up with my own original paint for the Tempest concert, it was white and green :D it was awesome!!

Juggalo is a term for our family, It came from the song The Juggla from Carnival Of Carniage and it's what we call each other! Juggalette is just a fancy way of saying Girl Juggalo, but most Juggalettes actually dispise the term and just go about calling themselves Juggalos, ICP doesn't like the term Juggalette either...they are trying to bring people together, not split them apart regarding race/religion/sex/or whatever :D

BTW: I didn't mean to sound like a know-it-all or anything I just want people to know that Juggalos/Juggalettes aren't something they should be afraid of, most Juggalos are KIND people, there are just a few rotten eggs, just like in any other group of people, ICP is actually agaist racisim and bigotry (most people don't get past the killing in their songs to actually hear their messages)

Thank you for clearing up what a juggalo is(i was half asleep when i was explaning it before) and thanks for answering all questions AND labeling them(makes it easyer for me and others to understand what your answering heh!)

no problem :) I love explaining what it means to me, it's a big deal in my life right now.. so I think it's important that people know what it's REALLY about :) not just what they hear from people who THINK they know what they are talking about but have absoloutly no clue ;)

I found the carnival at last... Its been awhile since anyones been in this thread. Its just a shame we're as misunderstood as we are... Anytime i say i'm a juggalo i get the craziest looks, like nobody thinks i could be down with the clowns. I used to listen to them in high school when the great milenko came out and their videos were on MTV but up until a month or two ago i hadnt listened to alot of their songs outside that albums.

So then i get some gift cards from work and i went on amazon and i bought carnival of carnage and the wraith: Shangri-la and once i listened and learned i bought all the albums and shoved them all in my ipod. I'm expanding outward now starting with dark lotus and twiztid and possibly boondox but now i get it... i understand and it really does make me feel better knowing i'm a juggalo, that i'm never really alone and that i have a place where i can belong no matter what.

Thanks for clearing that up before i got here juggaletta... I dont see why its so hard for people to understand what it means to be a juggalo, I see it all the time in the life issues forum. People being sad and lonely and hurting and thinking theres no one out there that understands and feeling that they dont fit in anywhere... I used to feel like that, i spent most of my life depressed to the point of suicide until i started listening to ICP... The wraith: Shangri la was an awakening when i heard it for the first time, listening to all the jokers card albums and seeing the subtle positive messages hidden throughout the albums and then having that whole build-up and hearing songs like juggalo homies, and we belong. Their music may have some absolutely insanely f*cked up stuff in it but overall their message is a good one.

I remember once when a friend of mine heard me playing ICP while i was playing lego star wars 2 and i had "thy unveiling" on and she walks up to me and says "Why do you listen to this devil music?" i'm not sure if she was kidding or not but i paused the game and just stared at her and i said "you know this song is about how the carnival is a metaphor for god right... i mean he just SAID they work for god..." and then she just looked at me confused and said "...nobody wants to hear your devil music" and walked out, so i slapped myself in the forehead and went back to my game.

but seriously, before i started listening to ICP i used to hate everyone who wasnt me or my friend, i would actively avoid people who dressed differently than me or acted differently than me but i've learned alot about who i should really be careful of and that i shouldnt be judging people. Now i find myself being alot more friendly with people i dont know all that well, i give a nod or a "hello" to people i would've crossed the street to avoid before i started listening to ICP, and you know what, alot of them are nice people. I never would've known that if i wasnt listening to ICP.

Yes i like the kind of music they play
At first glance you'd swear this is the most evil and disgusting music ever, but theres alot of hidden positive messages in their music. Thats what i love most about their kind of music
I wish i could get to one of their concerts but i live in Reno, NV... the only thing we get here is country music, rodeos and gun shows.
I'm sure i'd enjoy the concert if i could see one
I would definately paint my face up for a show
