Ooooh, boy. I have a lot. o_o

Most dominant language on my playlist is Japanese (that's a given to anyone who knows who my favorite artists are), followed by English. Between the two languages, that's roughly 85% of my music library. However, the remaining 15% is amazingly varied:

Italian
Russian
Portuguese
Spanish
Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese)
German
French
Korean
Latin

...and probably more that I'm forgetting. o_o;;

Fin Raziel 03-05-2008 04:24 PM

Hm... I just deleted most of the music on my Zen MP3 player so I can reload it with some fresh material, but I have songs in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, German, and French at the moment.

Selmarixie 03-05-2008 06:37 PM

Oh god. x_X;

English (American, European)
Japanese
Chinese
Korean
Taiwanese
Romainian
Ukrainian
German
Russian
Moldovian

Fin Raziel 03-06-2008 04:41 PM

Oh, yeah. I have one Tatu song in Russian, I forgot to mention. But Selmarixie, what's "Moldovian"?

ReiyukaE 03-06-2008 07:18 PM

Fin - it's the language spoken in Moldova. ^-^

Let's see, I have:

English
Japanese
Korean
Chinese
Dutch
German
French
Frisian (language spoken in Friesland, Holland)
Russian
Serbian

That's it, I think.

Amiiu 03-06-2008 07:29 PM

I don't have that much, or at least in my opinion...

English
Japanese
Korean
Chinese [Mandarin]
Russian
Spanish
French
Romanian

I think that's it but I may have some more...
oh wait, there's also Portuguese :]

Mars180 03-06-2008 08:41 PM

moon waltz 05-08-2008 03:38 PM

Well, the vast majority of what I have is in English, but I have a few scattered pieces of other things as well:

Latin (a lot of this actually - mostly Gregorian chant, but some other stuff as well)
French (modern and old)
Breton
German
Dutch (I think)
Japanese
Persian
Irish Gaelic

Fabby 05-09-2008 08:38 PM

Nearly all of my music is in English, because a song loses a lot of meaning for me if I can't understand the lyrics.

I do have some German and French in here. And one song in Romanian. Can you guess which song? XD

Morien 05-18-2008 08:33 AM

I think this is a complete list:

English
German
Japanese
French
Italian
Romanian
Latin
Chinese
Elvish/ Dwarvish/ Orcish *sigh*
Nonsense language

Funny, but the nonsense language ones tend to be my favorites. They might actually be in some mysterious language, but I seem to remember hearing that the words got made up for both of these.

Sethirius 05-18-2008 08:42 AM

Hmm... Okay.

English
Italian
French
Spanish
Japanese

Well, that's what I can remember off the top of my head, but it's mostly those languages I think.

' T E A P A R T Y 05-19-2008 03:04 AM

I have songs in English, German, French, and Japanese. ;D
Not so many in German and French yet, though. But I'm working on getting more.

Mushy Kylo Hendricks 05-19-2008 08:09 AM

I always listen to Korean and Japanese songs quite a bit, and definitely English - those most of my English songs are on CDs, which I usually don't put on itunes/my ipod. I save that for video game and anime soundtracks - especially when I import them and want to protect the discs as much as I can.

I think I have one song in Russian, a couple in Latin, and one song in Polish...I think. Don't quote me on that. The singer is Polish and there's English in there, but I think a few lines aren't English. xD

Tolkien songs, I suppose? Where have you found a recording of some of them?

Ling 05-19-2008 02:33 PM

There are songs in English, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese in my collection.

Queen Fool 05-24-2008 04:55 PM

All English.

My friend keeps trying to get me to put her crap on my iPod, but I hate not being able to understand the language. It ruins it for me.

After my 4 years of language in high school I might be more open to foreign things because I'll be able to understand them.

Now I'm curious, lol XD
You know, I could tell you if it's Polish or not XD

I listen mostly to Polish and English songs. I understand these languages, so it isn't problem for me.
However I have also some songs in Slovenian, German, French, Japanese, Italian, Latin and Finnish... And one in Ukrainian.
I think that's all ^^

Shira Hitsugaya 06-06-2008 12:56 AM

For-Chan Cookie 06-06-2008 09:47 AM

Now that I've figured out how to rip music from youtube videos, I'll probably be expanding a little more for those things I see a video of but can't find a download for! =D

Ladye Charlotte 06-08-2008 07:51 PM

Spamilla 06-24-2008 12:23 AM

I have:
English - My native tongue
Spanish - Reik and Selena are love!
German - Tokio Hotel
Japanese - Many anime OSTs and J-Pop/Rock artists
Swedish - Nanne Gronvall's "Håll Om Mig Nu"
Hungarian - Lol, only that one part in my Chicago CD, but it's there.
Romanian - O-Zone
Russian - t.A.t.U. of course!

I used to have many in French and Italian, but they were all lost when my computer crashed. I also have several dubbed versions of Disney songs.

nike13 06-27-2008 08:00 PM

I have songs in only a few languages:
-English
-Japanese
-Korean
-Chinese
-Greek

The Japanese/Korean/Chinese are mostly from anime themes that I liked and went to look up the artists' works to go along with them. The Greek is from when my family went to Greece. My family's come to expect other languages being spouted from my computer by now but the Greek did seem odd compared to the others, at least out of place for awhile.

Terra517 07-02-2008 05:26 PM

I listen to all diffrent languages as well. The ones on my music player would be
English
Chinese (mandarian and cantonese)
Vietnamese
Taiwanese (?)
Japanese
Korean
Carribean: (Which are these three listed below)
Guyanese
Jamiacian
Trinidadian

I think thats all. ^_^
