I was flipping through some songs on my iPod when I realized that more than half of the songs I listen to aren't even in English. From what I've gathered, I have songs sung in:

- English
- Japanese
- German
- Spanish
- French
- Korean
- Romanian

That's 7 different languages! And there's probably more that I've missed. I've come across mot of them from AMVs I've watched on YouTube, heard from a friend, was already a well known song to begin with, etc.

How about you? How many different languages can you count in your music collection? What are they? How did you come across them?

I have one song by Regine Spektor...and she sings in Ukrainian.

That's it. I really don't like listening to songs unless I can somewhat understand what they're saying, I really like the lyrics too much. I prefer songs in English or French, though, so I don't miss any word.

I used to listen to a lot of Japanese music, but none of them are on my ipod. I have mostly German though.

i have songs in every language i can find (mainly rock)~ so i really dont want to list them all... however my favorite bands sing in japanese and finnish~:D i would guess only about 18 of the songs i have on my ipod are english... i have more but i never listen to them~:3 (btw i have 3500 songs on me ipod...so 18 isnt alot:P) why do i even need that many...O.o i cant listen to that many... ever~:P

I have English, French, Japanese, Cantonese and Mandarin pop/rock songs. I also have a Swedish song [I found from an AMV], a Romanian song [Dragostea Din Tei!], Korean [from dramas] and Latin [FF songs].

Hm, I know German for sure due to I have almost all the songs that Rammstein has done. Let's see I have a few in French, one in finnish, a few in Japanese. I think that's it without looking at my music.

All the songs on my MP3/phone is either English, French or Spanish. I dont like listening to music that I dont understand because I mostly listen to the lyrics in music :3 I use to have one Japanese song on my phone :3 I think it was Japanese o.O It was called "Bu de bu ai" bye Wilber Pan :3 I loved it so much! I also listened to the English version but it was rubbish compared to the original :3

I only download songs I like and listen to, obviously. xDD So I'm pretty sure I know what songs I have. o:

- There's English ones, but for some reason, most songs are very boring to me. :/
- I have a TON of Japanese songs in my iTunes. I like the language and the music a lot. :]] <33
- A few Korean songs.. there are only certain ones I like, such as songs by DBSK or BoA.. maybe even The TRAX. xD
- And last but not least, Chinese songs. :D I don't have a lot of them, even though I'm Chinese, but some of them are really good. ;3 I like F.I.R and some other people. xD
