What was the first album or song you ever purchased for yourself?

Mine was the N*Sync CD No Strings Attached I think was the title, I was so excited.

First cd I purchased at a yard sale was Michael Jackson's Bad album.
First cd I purchased at an actual store was probably a Backstreet Boys one.
First cd I ever stole was Tonight the Stars Revolt! by Powerman 5000 which I stole from my cousin.

Haha, I don't think I've ever stolen any CDs.

The first CD I bought was Walk Among Us by The Misfits. I was 12 or 13. Such a good band!

Um....good question lol...might've been Johnny Cash's Greatest Hits or Metallica-the black album.

First CD I bought myself was probably Godsmack's Awake album. And if it wasnt that, then I have no idea what it was, since that is the first time I can remember being at a music store and having to use my own money(parents always ordered CDs through Columbia House before that). I think I was 13 or 14.

First album bought... uh I think it was RelientK's Two Lefts Don't Make a Right (but three do). Next I think was Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. It took me a while to buy any CDs due to my dad's already huge collection.
First one digitally was some music video. XD
First one I stole I think was actually one I bought on iTunes, back when they wouldn't let you re-download purchases. I still don't buy from there unless I have to. Thank you Pirate Bay (although I still buy physical albums, thank you).

I don't know my first CD or song, but the first vinyls I bought (in the same day) were Rust Never Sleeps, Coda, Live! (Bob Marley), and Dark Side of the Moon.
The first new vinyls I bought were Give Up by The Postal Service and Volume Two by She & Him.

I think mine was the Sailor Moon soundtrack for the English series. XD Either that or Ace of Base.

Nice first wolfie! I think the first one I bought for myself was Destiny's Child #1s I think. I got given a lot of CDs, so I never really bought them for myself.

I think the first CD i ever owned was an AQUA CD but the first i brought myself was a Kelly Clarkson cd (I think it was called Breakaway?)

I still love the Breakaway CD... But I don't think I own it.

Oh wow... My first... Well, I'm guilty of being offered CDs but not actually buy them... So my first ever CD that I bought myself was Relapse by Eminem. My first ever CD that someone got me was Encore by Eminem, my parents got it for me. The first CDs that were offered by someone else but aren't exactly technically sort of not really legal were Blue Best Of and Shania Twain's Up! CD.

But I have tons of CDs. Tons of them. No idea how I got to possess them at all. But here they are, gathering dust. Didn't even know I liked this stuff... Eh. XD

Don't you love it when you can look back on your music tastes when you were younger? My first CD was Another Night by Real McCoy. I believe I was 14. :)

The first Album I ever bought was with my first paycheck when I was 15. It was Three Days Grace's album One X.
I still have it today.
