Oh yeah, that whole "punk" thing. That fanbase (as much as I hate going by fanbase in music, there are instances) has made me make shifty eyes at almost all of today's punk rock outside of Bad Religion's newer stuff (Graffin makes it pretty clear that he doesn't support that kind of thing with an entire essay). Half of which aren't punk rock to begin with... silly record companies mislabeling genres.
