Thought i'd make something perfectly clear... i never say i hate any genre, because i listen to music from literally every genre. I don't even tend to say that i dislike certain bands because some bands have put out one or two songs that i end up liking. I like ICP, Gaelic Storm, Metallica, Coal miner's Daughter, 2NE1, Miyavi, and various musical soundtracks, and that's just to name a few. I gotta say that i do have to agree with ottersaurus on her points about arguing with everyone about what genre is good or bad. In the end, it is all a matter of perspective. My comment about US music becoming more and more emo was just a thought i'd bounce around because it had occured to me after watching mtv music early in the morning, a few months ago, for a few days in a row.
