April 22, 2016 - GREEN DAY



Today's artist of the day is Green Day! I was a huge fan of Green Day back in high school. Specifically, I loved their songs Boulevard Of Broken Dreams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Soa3gO7tL-c, Wake Me Up When September Ends https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVO8sUrs-Pw&index=115, and Time of Your Life https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwnoNVOj1Fs. This was back when going out to karaoke with my friends was one of my favorite things to do, and Boulevard of Broken Dreams was almost always on our playlist to sing along to because we all knew the song, it was super catchy, and they liked to laugh when I made up lyrics to avoid saying curse words while singing it. For over a year, I did not listen to Boulevard of Broken Dreams because my uh...let's just call him previous person, although he liked the song, it reminded him of one of his former friends who became one of his enemies. So I had actually removed that song from my playlist for a long while. But now that I have my current significant other who loves that song, it is now back on my playlist, and I listen to it happily <3
