I love Tool. :3 Maynard has such an amazing voice. Strong and wonderful. He can sound fierce or gentle. I just love that. I can't believe there hasn't been a thread dedicated to them already, honestly. I mean, it's not like they're an underground band or anything. o.o Anybody? Favorite album? Favorite song? Why? My favorite album is definitely Lateralus, though I love them all. My favorite song is H. It describes addiction in such a beautiful and touching way. It really makes you feel emphatic. Just beautiful. ( I realize my favorite song is NOT on Lateralus. xD But I also know that it doesn't have to be. =P So don't give me crap about it. Haha. )

It's actually pretty strange. My two favorite songs are Sober and Forty Six and Two, but generally speaking I prefer A Perfect Circle over Tool.

Well, at least you replied! D= I can't believe I haven't gotten more hits, Tool rocks. But yes, APC is also incredible. My favorite APC album is definitely Mer De Noms. :3

Tool is an awesome band! Haven't really listened too much from their albums. To be honest, the first I heard of them was the 3 songs they had on Guitar Hero: World Tour-Parabola, Vicarious and Schsim. Those were easily my favourite songs from the game.

Heard a little bit more from APC since I found live studio footage for some of their stuff and Holy CRAP did that sound awesome live!

I would have thought there would be a thread as well, but at least there is one now! They're definitely not underground, but it could just be a case that not many of their fans are on Menewsha. (Shrugs) Just a thought.

But yeah, Tool. Awesome band!

Parabola and Schism are amazing, Vicarious is pretty good too though. =) I highly suggest you look into their music more though! Lateralus and Aenima are my favorites. Aenima is more angry, while Lateralus just makes you think. Their lyrics are more meaningful than most lyrics I've ever heard. o.o; Like in 46 & 2. x3 I can't help but go on and on about them.. v.v I love them so much, and so few people listen to them. T.T

I have heard some of their other stuff, but I haven't listen to a whole album, mostly due to me being too lazy to look online and being unable to afford the albums (Curses being a student under his breath).
I have heard 46 & 2, which I enjoy though Sober is AWESOME. Especially the live version from when they did Reading (I Think) back in 1993. That sounded SO GOOD live!

Oh man. You've gotta get over your laziness! Haha. I know how it is though. =P You'll be glad you did if you look into Tool though. I love those songs, too! xD But my favorite song they did live was definitely Pushit. Maynard is so amazing. He sounds emotional, but not in the annoying way. It provokes feeling for me. *Sigh* It's just wonderful.

Sober is most definitely my favorite Tool song, even though it makes me think of my ex. :(

saisei Sober is a great song, but I have so many favorites, it's ridiculous! I love their deeper songs. All of them have meaning though. With Sober, Maynard James Keenan ( the singer ) had forsaken God for his mother being terribly sick. ( Hospitalized, actually.. And I believe she was also comatose. ) She was a strong Christian, and he saw it as, if God were real, he hated him for it. Since then, he's made peace with God, not to say he's a Christian, but he's at peace since his mother's passing. It's a beautiful, tragic story, but such is life. ( To many who don't know the lyrics, my statement didn't make sense. xP Probably seemed irrelevant. But hopefully you understand. )

Recently brought the Lateralus album. 'Tis awesome. Lateralus has become my favourite song!
