I never came up with an answer for that question to be honest. There's not too many music videos that I think fit the song or are just plain cool even though they do not fit the song. I will have to get back to you with that if I do think of something.
My favorite music video comes from my favorite band and the object of my obsession: Paramore. It's the video for their song "Ignorance" off of their third album, Brand New Eyes.
It's the video for Danny Gokey's song "My best Days". It's a wonderful song with a great message and an amazing video to match. The video expresses the lyrics beautifully with the messages written right in the video. It's all about following your passions, your dreams, and focusing on what the future can bring instead of being stuck in the past. My Best Days are Ahead of Me~
I like this because I haven't seen another video done in this style and becuase not many people I know, know who Sara Bareilles is it makes it that more special to me! =3

Love that video!
...I really like the Gangnam Style video.
Not the song, just...the video is hilarious. XD
Of all time? So hard to decide...
Do AMVs count?
I could (at this very moment) think of Vocaloid vids.
For 'real' ones, I couldn't come up with a number one. Probably the Dixie Chick's Not Ready To Make Nice vid.
Run Boy Run by Woodkid. Love this video because it really makes you wonder/think differently. I think pretty much every person has their own interpretation to it, and the symbols in it are pretty deep. (In my opinion)
Other than that, I just love the fast pace of it and the black white gray colors in it. As the title says, there's lots of running and watching it makes my heart race.
I just watched an awesome music video yesterday that I never thought would b that good...
UZA by AKB48. Most of the members in there are not what I expected. The dance was amazing to hell! I loved every bit of it and can't wait for the dance version. The outfits are like OMG cool... definitely stuff I would want to wear but could never pull off in real life. Dark, gothic, punk and the whole feel... Really something I can relate to. I'm probably going to get screenshots of the music video to try and see if the outfits on Mene can match them.
