Like the Crazy Frog?
The Crazy Frog killed the Harold Faltermeyer song "Axel F". -.- Nothing better than the original Axel F from Beverly Hills Cop.

I'm more of an ebm, industrial and synthpop person as far as these genres go. As far as artists go I like to listen to Psyclon Nine, Tactical Sekt, Amduscia, VNV Nation and Assemblage 23 among others.

I'm a huge fan of gabber/speedcore.
IDM and 604 are pretty sweet too.
I especially like Realicide CREW from Cincinnati, Ohio. I've seen them play three times, and they get better ever time.
As far as IDM goes, Mouse on Mars and Four-Tet are nice.
I used to make electronica, and a friend of mine is pretty good at it. It's all very experimental. Looking at the first post of this, it doesn't fit into any of the categories listed. It often sounds more like video game music than anything.
Anyone use FL Studio or AcidPro?

Yeah, I'm not a massive stickler on subgenres so I get the details confused from time to time.
@pwny_of_doom: I'm an FL Studio user. Been doing some futurepop and terror ebm stuff lately in the very little free time that I have.

I had FL Studio on my old computer, but I don't have it on my laptop yet... I really wish I did. I probably wouldn't get much stuff done, but then again, it wouldn't be the only thing I waste time on *cough*menewsha*cough*gaia*cough*DungeonsandDragon s*cough*

Oh, neat. They probably make 8Bit if it sounds like video game music. Anyways I make a bit on FL Studio Pro and I've tried experimenting on Acid but that's about it.

The video game sound comes from a synth he uses called PlastiCZ. It's extremely simple and flexible. Gotta try it.
If anyone's ever heard Realicide, they have some interesting technology. In addition to your standard analog and soft synths they also use tape recorders, walkman's, and microphone feedback in their music.
Realicide is so great.
