Taking Back Sunday has been my favorite band for the past 5 years. I love their music, their live performaces, and they're nice guys. My favorite song is probably "The blue channel". I also like "Spin" and "Summer stars" quite a bit too. My favorite album is probably "Where you want to be".

Who else is a fan? What's your favorite song/album? What are your thoughts on their live performaces or the band itself? Anything else related to the band can be talked about as well.

"New American Classic" is love in song form. :'D It's really, really pretty!
"Sleep" has to be one of my favorites as well. And who could forget "A Decade Under The Influence"? So many choices...
I love Taking Back Sunday. I think Where You Want To Be is my favorite of their albums, but it's a pretty close tie with Louder Now.

Louder Now had it's good points nad bad points. The vocals were a lot better in that album, but I feel as if they could have done a bit better on some of the songs on the album. For instance, "Divine Intervention" could have been put together better. I do like the fact that they went in a different direction with their music though.

Lolol, I used to like them about 4 years ago, I can;t stand them now though.

I'm not really their biggest fan, but I do like their songs. New American Classic is probably my favorite.. or Cute Without the E. :']

I was Lucky enough to See them Live this past Year.

Yes, they put on some of the most amazing live shows. Their energy is amazing live. Although I love their albums, I still think they need to work on catching their live energy onto their recorded music.

I saw them live the other day and they were fun! They sounded good even if I couldn't make out the words! I need to start listening to them.

Did anyone hear the news about Fred leaving the band? Yes, this is probably old news for those who follow the band closely, but I figured I’d post it anyway. There’s an article about it on MTV’s site Here. As much as I love Taking Back Sunday’s music, I’m glad that he left to do what he wanted to do and didn’t stick with the band when he didn’t want to. I personally love his solo music as well as his stuff with Breaking Propaganda. It’s not as a big of a shock to me as it is to other fans. To me, you could tell that he wasn’t totally comfortable with TBS’s style. What do you guys think of it? What do you think of his solo stuff in The Color Fred?

I actually quite like their songs, I don't really hear much about them, but they're an okay band -nod-

I love TBS. My husband is obsessed with them too. He's all the time playing "What's it feel like to be a Ghost" on guitar.

i've liked taking back sunday for 5 years as well! i love all of their albums, because i find each of them unique.

i've seen them perform live twice, and i thought they were awesome. i'll be seeing them again come may, with my chemical romance :)

Anyone else as excited as I am for New again to come out?

I just heard "New again" as a track and let me just say that I couldn't even listen tot he whole thing all the way through because it was so bad. The bass line in it isn't too bad but other than that it's pretty bad.
