Does anyone else like any of their songs? I didn't see a thread so I took the liberty of making one :)

Some of my favorite songs right now by them are:
Tomorrow Comes Today
Feel Good Inc.
To Binge
Dare
Rhinestone Eyes
El Manana
19/2000
Clint Eastwood
Rock The House

Also, the Gorillaz released their newest album around the beginning of this month, which probably will be their last. :c

We have one about their newest album, but not about them as far as I can see... which is weird.

But I like their older stuff. I've had the song Dare stuck in my head for weeks on end.

Their first album was definitely their best, in my opinion. Tomorrow Comes Today is one of my favorite songs ever. =3

I know, it's really relaxing c:
Plus the video's way cool at going through London at night, because the weird thing is I love listening to songs like this at night especially in a lit up city :)

I know what you mean! I have stockpiles of songs for driving depending on the time/weather/season. Summer songs, winter songs, morning & night, cloudy & sunny, and everything in between. XD
Tomorrow Comes Today is definitely awesome for clear nighttime driving in the city.

I love Dare! :D

There older stuff was definitely better. I found their new album severely lacking, but I did like Stylo.

@ Kid - Me too! And I thought I was kinda weird for doing so, it coll to know someone else does this besides me XD

@ Siri - Yeah, I agree. I used to haaate Stylo, but after listening to it more times (cause it was kinda addicting) it kinda stuck XP

XD Nah, it's not that weird!
What's weird is when songs have colors -- which, I hear a lot of colors with Gorillaz. Tomorrow Comes Today, for instance, is purple. Don't ask me why. Haha.

I mean, I actually SEE the colors when I listen to the music. XD I'm a weirdo... It's some kinda synesthesia, I'm sure.

My favorites are Feel Good Inc., 19/2000, Clint Eastwood, White Light, and Dare.
My favorite quote is:

@ Kid - Lol, you sure there's not a gas leak in your house? Lol J/K! XD

@ D1S - That's mine to! That's my favorite part in a song ever <3

@Frawesome -- I might take that into account if my house used gas! XD
But, nah, it's a legitimate medical thing. Still weird, though. At least I don't taste colors!

You all heard D-Sides? I love the remix of Kids With Guns (it's like... Jamie T's Turns to Monsters Mix). Pretty dang good stuff.

Lol XD
I always thought if you tasted sweet tings it might be pink... I dunno just a though :P

And I've heard of it, never actually got around to listening. D-Slides is where other people remix their stuff right?

Haha, I can see that! The "condition" is called synesthesia, if you wanna look into it a little more. XD

Yeah, it's mostly remixes from Demon Days, but there are a few unreleased tracks on it, too. Same thing with G-Sides, only with the self-titled album.

It's totally worth it. =3
Especially "Faust" from G-Sides, and "Stop the Dams" from D-Sides.

I listened to it on their website, but I'm not really digging it. =( That disappoints me, 'cause I love their older stuff so much! One of these days, I'll listen to it again and see if it grows on me.

I love the Gorillaz, particularly the song "Sunshine in a Bag". I also like Feel Good Inc. Good songs, good songs. The lyrics never fully made sense to me until I looked into them further for some songs, but no matter what I loved the music that went with them. I have very acute hearing so I can hear every instrument more easily than others~ It's well blended.

I don't mean to sound like a douchebag, but the song's proper title is "Clint Eastwood." It's a common victim of Refrain from Assuming. But yes, I agree, it's definitely a good song. =3 That's the one that got me into them. I saw the video on MTV back in 2000, and I quickly went out and bought the CD.
