Lol. Well....maybe Christina did make her vid to close to Gaga's, but she's been doing what Gaga's doing now a helluva lot longer than Gaga has. Everyone acts like Lady Gaga's something new and "revolutionary" but...not really. Artists like Madonna have been doing it for ages. =/ Lol. Gaga's decent, but she's no where near as amazing as people make her to seem. Not to me, atleast.

Yeah, every generation has artists who go outside of the box and try (and perhaps succeed) to make a statement. The Beatles, Jimmi Hendrix, Madonna... Bjork also comes to mind from my own high school years. Anyways, Gaga seems to be that icon for today's younger generation. I don't relate really, as I don't listen to the radio for the most part (NPR and Loveline only plz!), so I have no idea what's all hot and new in pop music these days.

However, I have watched a couple of Gaga videos, because I had to know what the hype was about.

I can't deny that she has a great voice and is quite talented when she sits down at a piano, but the convoluted, synthesized pop music that comes out at the end of the recording/producing process is what turns me off. I don't really do pop music anymore. It's not what it used to be. :(
