I've only been hunting down and enjoying music of this nature for about two years now, but i love so many facets of these darker styles.

I'd also like to vent by saying Combichrist and porcelain black (formerly porcelain and the tramps) are becoming embarrassments, and Angelspit is headed down a bad road too :(

Here are a few great tracks for those not familiar with the genre, feel free to join in with your input!

I have always loved all of that type and music --so many great bands too. I will always love that type of music.

I like Christian Death (with Rozz, not Valor), Coil, The Axis of Perdition, Bauhaus, Switchblade Symphony, antihoney, and later Ulver (in the early days they did black metal).

Angelspit, OhGr, The Birthday Massacre, old Skinny Puppy.

I like basically all bands you listed up there. :)
You might want to check out Indochine if you haven't heard them, they've been described as a French The Cure. It was the first band I got into in the genre.

I recently found out that Angelspit is touring with Blood on the Dancefloor. Oh man... WHY?! They picked the worst band to support! I mean, BoTF is mediocre and their fanbase is full of KIDS.
Oh God... It's terrible.

I haven't heard Blood on the Dance floor before. So I just had to look them up just now. All I can say is hahaha! It's gotta be made for kids! Just look at their single cover. And they sound like their main audience would be kids too. lol

I like the Cure. Love Voltaire more. Such fantastic artists!
