What was the last song you listened to in 2011?
What was the first song you listened to in 2012?
Bonus: If the first song you listened to in 2012 is actually prophetic to how this next year is going to be... how is 2012 going to treat you?
I can't answer yet because it's not the New Year in California yet. :P

I don't actually remember the first one of 2012... I think it was a song at church, but I'm not sure which. The last song of 2011 however, was whatever the last song in the episode of glee called "I am Unicorn" was.

Last Song of 2011: "Happy New Year" Abba ((It was only appropriate))
First Song of 2012: "It's the End of the World" R.E.M. ((The guy in charge of music at the party thought it would be funny. It was XD))
Obvious conclusion if my first song ends up being my "fortune cookie" for the year. Oh those Mayans...

Last song I remember hearing of 2011 was "All I care about (is Love)" from the musical Chicago; it's on my sleep tracks. And the first song of 2012 I heard was "Who wouldn't want to be me" by Keith Urban. It was also the first song I downloaded from itunes in 2012.
I kinda hope the song is prophetic. I mean the song is pretty awesome as too why his life is great... now change all the things about a girl to a guy and we're good... so long as that boy is still my current bf, because he's totally amazing!

Well I was out at a nightclub for my new years eve, so it's safe to say that alcohol was being consumed. I'm not one hundred percent on what my last song of 2011 was, I have a feeling that it might have been 'Levels' by Avicii, though it could have been anything. My first songs of 2012 were 'Auld Lang Syne' and 'Loch Lomond' though, as is customary in Scotland. No matter where you go, those songs are played at midnight. I guess if it was to act as a prophecy it would be reminiscing with my true love, though first I need to find him.

When I went out to watch the fireworks in the city, there was some random Latin type party music playing. That was before the clock struck 12, after that I don't remember.

I was dancing to a Disney song on skype with my niece. We were listening to Hakuna Matana, singing along together, and being weird. :) The last song probably was from Acceptance.

I listened to Drink by Lil John (ft LMFAO) to take out the year and then watched the bartenders hand out a metric-shit-ton of shots to bring in the New Year with Shots by LMFAO (ft Lil John)..... that was a very, alcohol-induced 8 minutes of my life.
Quite honestly, after the shots and full glasses being put down during Drink. I should have just joined the flash mob outside and probably ended up on youtube versus the other shot-takings that proceeded during the new year song at the place...

It was a quiet evening. No music. Just the sound of the TV followed by fireworks later on. I honestly can't remember what my last song was nor my first of this year... I could try and guess, but that wouldn't help much anyway since I heard my first song over a store intercom somewhere the following day without knowing who sang it... :P
