Do you sing? Ever since I was a little girl, I looooved to sing! I was in choirs from 4th grade and went on to major in music education with my emphasis in voice in college. I've sung in a billion different types of choirs from classical, operatic, show choir, and to a capella in college! I love singing all kinds of music in all kinds of different languages!

So I'm making this thread to hear others who have a passion for music and for singing, just like me! Whether you sing or play and instrument, I've love to hear you!

To start it out,
I have two videos:
This first one was me and my two good friends in high school - I sang second soprano. We have such a long history with this stupid song....we first sang it when we were in middle school together as part of our middle school vocal ensemble. Anyway, we screwed up the key changes. THEN I sang it in 10th grade because my teacher asked me to sing it with another choir because they were having trouble with the key changes...so I sang it with them. He told me the only reason it went as well as it did was because I was there helping them. So THEN we took it back out again, the three of us, to sing out senior year. I was always first but because I'd sung it so much, I sang second. I'm the red head in the middle:


This second video is me with my acapella group in college. It was my 3rd year...the day before I had NO voice what-so-ever because I had been really sick for a few weeks. I had juries and this performance on the same day (we actually sang this song a few weeks earlier and we had to let another girl sing the solo because I had no voice...couldn't even speak.) But no way on earth was I going to miss my second try singing this song! lol By some miracle I had a voice that morning for my juries(voice finals for the semester) and passed that and then went on to sing this.... So this is me:

I love the idea of this thread. I'm a bit shy about people hearing me sing. I'm more of the writer and playing instrumental type. I don't think I can sing very well anyway. :P I may post something up if I can dig up old files though.

My voice is good, i don't if i'm great or anything special really.
I don't have any recording equipment though...grr.
Also, high notes are my bane...i think they are most guys bane though.
Working on them, training to become stronger! *training music plays in the background*

What kinda music does everyone like to sing?
I mean, I find what I listen too - and what I can sing 'well' are two very different things. Haha.

I tend to listen to pop for the most part... and though I do listen to Amy Winehouse... she is pretty much it from that genre of music. Though I kinda find that I am best suited for her kinda songs >.<

So I was just curious. :)

I do have a voice it's just that I think it sounds stupid -___- and also the video I WOULD show is 1. Really sucky 2. It's in a different language I fail at speaking.

I can sing... sometimes. Other times not so much. I might put a video of me singing up, if I can be bothered making one.

I don't have anything seriously current, but I have a few recordings from when I was in an all men's acapella group. I'll just post the song that features me as the lead.
