The only thing that I've ever liked out of that list is Creed, and that's because they know EXACTLY what they want to be. It's hard rock/grunge with no strings attached - no political propaganda to push [I'm looking at you, Pearl Jam] or crybaby IWANNADIE ballads [I'm looking at you, Green Day] and no soft acoustic songs about depression [the only one who can do that properly is Alice In Chains in my opinion]

But otherwise I agree with everything on this list. High-five.

Sorry about my comment on Creed, Akechi. While they do have the elements you say, the quality is...ear shattering.

I cant really name any band that i hate, or artist.. But i usually dont tend to like music that have a very boring sound to it.. And that always plays the same thing, and build up all their songs the same way. I love it to be very different, and for the band to try many things.. I guess its different though, im very open with music.. Hardly ever like country though. @.@

Totally fine to think they're overrated, but what bothers me is that you feel that they have to stick with that one genre.
They've been away from thrash for close to 20 years at this point, so they really aren't a thrash band.
Bands do not have to adhere to a genre, they're allowed to change.



On topic, ICP is the only band that I feel deserves hatred.

This thread bothers me a little, with the way people are wishing death of painful sorts upon bands because they personally dislike their music, or their apparent attitude, or for reasons that seem to be along the lines of you think they're "overrated"... Or their lack of originality (which is something you're going to encounter every day for the rest of your life). Chill guys. Don't listen to it. Simple. Feel free to continue to hate it, but, jeez, no reason to wish death upon the poor bands.

I hate Disney bands. Honestly, where the hell do they find these kids? They're all plain, boring, wholesome kids who have not an awful lot of talent except for that of massacring good songs. Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, the ones attempting to make a career in music out of High School Musical... Stick with acting. You're ever so slightly better at that.

Also, most rap music. "Durr, I can insult everything and make myself sound like an arsehole to a beat, ooh..." There are exceptions to this, of course, but overall I can't stand the whole genre. But...

Lol, the thing about Lady Gaga is that she is doing brilliantly at parodying her genre. Including her music, lyrics, outfits, and videos. All she's doing is subtly poking fun at it. Even if her tunes weren't the sort that grow on you like moss on a rock, I'd like her just for that.

Damn them for eating up all the shit that's been handed over to them.

I really hate the Jonas Brothers. They can't sing at all. In fact, they sound like screeching peacocks. Most of them aren't even good-looking. The only one that looks good is Kevin, and he's still way overrated.
