yeah, the video was terrible in my opinion. It seems to me like the director was just trying to do the whole "shock value" thing with it and made it look more like Alien vs Predator. O.o

Ok...not all that impressed with the little monologue at the beginning, the video is weird and even gross in places, and the song still sounds like Madonna's "Express yourself"!

While this is not the worst video I have ever seen it is pretty WTF?!!!! inducing.

Aww, the scifi b-movie homage was the only thing I actually liked about it.

I was disappointed in the song at first. I still don't like it nearly as much as her other music, but I've gotten used to it after hearing it a few more times, though.

I guess it doesn't really sound like Lady Gaga to me. I'm not normally a fan of the type of music that they play on the radio, but Lady Gaga has always been the exception for me because her music is somehow different than most other artists', and more original, in my opinion. I thought "Born This Way" sounded a bit too much like everything else you hear on the radio, to be honest. But, like I said, I'm beginning to like it more than I did at first. I just hope the rest of the songs on her new album turn out to be more like her older music.

And, I thought the video was creepy. But then again, most of her videos are. o.o

Born this way sounds kind one of Madonna's song's, its catchy but its okay, I have lost my taste for Gaga.

See. What amazes me about this song is that while there is still a huge fanbase that is obsessing over it...a lot of people are actually admitting that it's pretty bad. Even Gaga-natics. This might be the beginning of her end. I heard a snippet of one of her other new songs off of the next album...that kinda stinks too. I know it was the real thing, because Gaga was endorsing it, but I unfortunately can't direct you all to it.

Oh...wait...uh...I found part of the other song that I was talking about. It's called "Government Hooker." Here ya'll go.

This is the bit of it that was played in the Mugler fashion show that she was recently apart of.

That's a bit sad...Gaga seems to be reaching the end of her streak and she hasn't been out long. She's reached the point where she's stopped being original and her politics are taking a front seat to her music...

all we need now is a drug scandal and she'll be like every other pop star who had a short run then burned out.

I'm more waiting for her to shave her head bald like Britney Spears did and get stuck in an asylum.

I liked the narration/intro to the vid, but the song and the dancing in the vid are rather dull.

Um...Gaga's always stolen runway ideas and tried to make them her own. She's always copied someone. XD I'm somewhat of a fan of hers but I really do not get how people think she's so creative. If you get naked (or close to) people will pay attention to you though. XD

I've only listened to a few of her songs and they just sort of sounded like generic mainstream pop. I couldn't find anything she seemed to have specifically copied until born this way but I don't feel she's all that unique. I'm not a fan at all but I don't think she's the worst thing out there *cough* jonas brothers *cough*

Nice to hear from the hipster contingency. Posting music opinions on forums is pretty mainstream, too, as is spelling mainstream correctly, it would seem. :)

i personally like this song, yah it is much different from her usual type of music but i believe she is a do the unexpected type of gurl that likes to keep her audience interested in her as well as her music. she has had some very strang outfits and some very unique stage performances, but overall i really enjoyed this song as well as i did all her other songs and cant wait to hear what she comes up with next.

See Jana Sterbak and Hussein Chalayan. I know there's other designers but my mind is a blank right now. It's way too early in the morning.

by no means is cora a....what did you guys call them.....rabid fans....but I do like Gaga quite a deal.

That being said.....Born this Way....is not my favorite by her but I don't hate it either?

Its getting hype because it may not be the first song to say being gay is ok. But its by an artist who is HIGHLY mainstream pop of the moment. People flock to her, weather to adore her or hate her....in the end they still flock.
