These are the best Sonic the Hedgehog mashups in all of creation, no questions asked.

I love the music they put in Final Fantasy games... also Kingdom Hearts series.

I consider myself to be a video game music connoisseur, and I have found that the best video game music for its time period comes from Phantasy star III, for the sega genesis. The music actually brings out the emotion so well, and it was using a 16 bit system, so it is quite impressive. Other games, such as the Tales of Symphonia, or Final Fantasy games, do that as well.

I've always enjoyed the music for Tomb Raider and also the music from Myst. They're so atmospheric. XD

I'm very fond of video/pc game music... some of my favorites come from Time Splitters such as : Neo Tokyo, Chicago, Circus, Siberia and Notre Dame. But then I also really love Le Ali Del Principio from Baten Kaitos.

I absolutely love the music from Monster Hunter, as well as White Knight Chronicles.

And more...

Shadow Hearts and Shadow of the Colossus come to mind as well.

Another favourite of mine has to be the Ridge Racer series (yes these are on my iPod as well, along with Portal 2!) Funny enough that I'm listening to RR right now :P

I play a lot of games and the majority of them have awesome soundtracks.
I play a lot of Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, and Final Fantasy. XD

I love Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 even more because of those awesome songs. I also really love Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core's end song, so beautiful :)

All of the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy Music is some of the best video game music i've heard, but recently the japanese version of Simple and Clean has taken the cake for the best.

The Final Fantasy composer has to be recognized as one of the best game score composers of all time. He's the Hans Zimmer of games. I would get mad at my brother for playing the game without me because I wanted to hear the start-up music and the traveling music, and the Blitzball music, and everything! I like Metal Gear Solid's music as well. I wanted to go to a symphony orchestra performance of these things with my boyfriend at the time.

I tend to like the exciting music from racing games, too. I've taken a lot of songs from Need for Speed and put them in my iTunes library. I also like the soundtrack made for Dreamcast's Speed Devils. I've sung them outside of playing the game lol.

What about Utada's Japanese version of Sanctuary? "Passion"! I'm trying to memorize the lyrics myself xD I prefer Passion to Sanctuary AND Simple and Clean!

I like the piano theme from Tales of Graces f. It's so pretty!
And also the opening theme which is sung by BOA. I'm not sure whether I like her Japanese version better or the English one, but they both sound great!

Final Fantasy does an amazing job with their soundtracks and so does the "Tales of" series.
