February 15, 2016 - IRON MAIDEN
Today's artist of the day is Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden is one interesting sounding band. They have a distinctive dark-sounding quality to them, if that makes any sense. The previous person introduced me to this artist because he liked to listen to them while he did his long-distance running. I like their songs Afraid to Shoot Strangers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwxN9NkaJUA and Two Minutes to Midnight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V70Eng8J1hw. There was definitely at least one other song by them that he had showed me, but I can't remember what it was called. I had added it to my playlist, but I think the person who uploaded it deleted the video, so now I can't even find it.

The artist of the day is Flo Rida. There are only two songs I know of from this artist, and I like them both.
The music video for Right Round always entertains me. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcCw1ggftuQ&index=429. Firstly, you notice that he is standing on a spinning platform that looks like an Oreo. Secondly, you hear a female voice singing in the song, but no hint in the title or artist about who she is. Well that's actually Ke$ha if you listen closely! She actually didn't want her name attached to this song because she wanted to make a name for herself without seeming like she was depending on someone else's already famous name to do so.
The other song by Flo Rida that I liked was called Whistle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSnkWzZ7ZAA&index=192. Note that I did not know what whistling was referring to until much later...

Today's artist of the day is Smosh! Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox are famous Youtubers who make all sorts of funny videos, including music videos! (Zelda was played by a woman whose name I forget, and her singing was sung by yet another woman not shown on screen.)

I love dubstep <3 It's funny because I usually prefer music that I can sing, but of course it is quite difficult to sing dubstep, haha. These are some of the dubstep songs on my playlist.
My physics lab partner showed me Lights by Klaypex https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ka9nGBzKekk back while I was still in college. He sent the link to me through Facebook messenger, and then played it while we were in his car together. I fell in love with the song while it was accompanied by the music video, but now also like it without all the visuals.

March 25, 2016 - DANCE SONGS
In high school, I enrolled myself in a dance class :D which was super fun. We danced to songs such as 5, 6, 7, 8 by Steps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NO-h9PFum4&index=290 and Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit of...) by Lou Bega https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EK_LN3XEcnw&index=437. We didn't dance the official choreography of those songs because most of us were beginners, and the teacher wanted to make sure we could all learn the dance moves quickly and well.
The dance moves (I don't know the actual names for these dance steps so...bear with me)
for 5, 6, 7, 8:
Go towards the right
Go towards the left
Spin around
...to be continued
for Mambo No. 5:
Starting with your right foot, tap your pointed toe on the ground, then step with your right foot.
Do the same with your left foot.
Repeat with right foot again and left foot again.
Now do the same thing except backward.
