It seriously amuses me that I've never heard of the majority of those bands xD
I have to say that I hated Westlife with a passion. Backstreet boys aren't bad, Take That is the biggest name on there for me but I only ever liked some of their stuff. In general I just don't like the manufactured boy band sound. Blue were pretty cool at first, their first few singles had a really individual sound but then they started sounding like every other boyband ever and became very boring : /
Lol, mainly because the "main" singer reminded me very strongly of my then boyfriend's older brother who we'd had a huge falling out with  But I never did like their sound, that guy reminding me of Gareth just gave me even more reason not to like them :ninja:
Yea I don't know who he is ^^ I just can't wait for the next Backstreet Boys album to come out and then they're gonna tour with NKOTB. Ahhhh...it's crazy, but then again I'll remain a 90s kid for life!
You don't have Bros on your list! I remember them totally expecting to be huge in the US and failing miserably, that was funny  Being megastars in the UK does NOT guarantee success anywhere else xD
Apart from Blue I can't really think of any others. But thankfully a lot of boy bands passed me by without me knowing about their existence
Hopefully you'll be able to watch these! They kept going into the noughties, but they really sounded very American and manufactured by then, they'd lost any kind of individuality.
There's been a LOT of press for Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block this week. From appearing on the Ryan Seacrest show, Entertainment Tonight, a USTREAM live interview, and much MUCH more, it seems like it's the right time to request them back on the radio again!

A funny bit of triva about the Jordan Knight song "Give it to You". I remember he performed at the Kid's Choice awards and they bleeped the words "Some" and "Bed". Now... the whole song is about sex, and either the kids like the song and know the lyrics, or they don't, but taking out the words will make the innocent ones ask their parents why. Heh.
