Hey guys,

I just wanted to discuss a little bit about the Ting tings....At first I thought their songs were kind of out there...but as I started to listen more and more... They have become ultra catchy. So far I have three songs by them. I am hoping to buy a CD of their's soon because I really am interested in having all their music now.

here is a video of "That's not my name" the Yo YO Gabba remix..XD

what do you think of them? do you think they will make it in the US... or globally? I hate the idea that if they don't make it in the US then that means they aren't good. its a bad misconception because sometimes the US endorses bad things too so US shouldn't control what is good or not... you know?

I thought they did make it to the US. o,o I mean, I live there, and I listen to them... heard someone play one of their songs for a school assembly earlier in the year, too.

The Ting Tings are great. I've only got one CD, not sure if there are more, but I listen to it all the time. ^_^ My favorite song is "Keep Your Head."

Wait, wait. I thought they already made it to the US?

XD

Oh well. But yeah I love the band. I got their song for free on itunes and I just got addicted. Though I see them as the band that is 'known' but not 'very well known'. Like you get an EXTREMELY good song stuck in your head but never can place the band. I think that's what happened with me and The Ting Tings. The only song I have on my laptop was the free song which was 'Shut Up and Let Me Go'. I seem to listen to this on the way to class or while on my way home. I think once I have cash and when my wallet isn't as tight I'll buy their album and maybe find the other damn song I had gotten from them. >>' I don't remember what it was called.

I remember catching the music video for "Shut Up And Let Me Go" on FN MTV back when that still existed (and I was excited that somebody was putting the music back in music television)... and between the video concept and the song its self I fell in love with it and downloaded the album.

They're a lot of fun and have a great energy, so I adore them.

Sorry i didn't clarify.. i mean would the Ting tings be largely accepted in the US as a successful group overall.. because i see in other countries..they pretty much are... but sometimes the US doesn't value the same way as the rest of the world does...

And I personally also love their music... their style isn't what i normally listen to...so for them to catch my attention says alot about them. you know?

I've heard of them, but then I live in England, so eh. I'm not personally a fan, I find their music rather irritating if I'm to be blunt heh. They have some very catchy songs, I'll give 'em that. My mum and her fiance are quite often humming along/singing them, both when a song is playing and when one isn't. Fair dos to them for getting so popular and doing well, they're just not really my cup of tea. ^^
