So here's a question: Does anyone on Menewsha listen to Vocaloid music?

For those of you who don't know, Vocaloid is a singing software. The originals are Japanese voice banks, such as Hatsune Miku, but America is picking up on the trend. (Think Lola, Tonio, etc.) I would write more, but I'm dead tired although it's only 10 PM.

My favorite Vocaloid is Kaito ~ When he's used correctly, he sounds so realistic.

I love Vocaloids!~ I've cosplayed as Len and Gakupo.

I like the oldest ones the best, the ones people know the best like Miku and Rin and Len. Kaito and Gakupo are awesome too...

Now I have Trick and Treat stuck in my head... -w-

I just looked it up since it seems to be a big fad right now. I personally do not like music that's electronic too much. They do create some catchy songs though.

@Mystic: Ya, I can understand why people wouldn't like how they sound...but I do agree. There are some seriously catchy songs.

I almost always have Double Lariat stuck in my head. It just goes round, and round... Just like Luka spinning. XD My favorite song right now is Kuma Beat, though. >.<

@Mystic - I agree, sometimes the electronic sound is a bit too much, but sometimes Vocaloids can sound so real. 0.0 It's amazing.

Yep, I was impressed with how well they pulled it off. Just goes to prove that if you use the medium well then the results can be awesome.

0.0 oh ya...I cosplayed Rin at Katsucon. XD I'm not showing any pictures, though. I want to remake the costume..and definitely make the shorts better. >.>

Well, I love the Daughter of Evil series--my friend showed me these and it got me into the whole Vocaloid thing,

"Memories" by Miku (I really wanna cosplay this version of Miku..it's soo pretty, and I haven't seen a single person do it yet. >D ),

and..and..I could probably go on forever. I actually kind of want to get a little mini Rin cosplay series going. And then use them for smaller cons and events so I don't need to do a ton of work or preparation until the bigger ones like Katsucon, AUSA and Otakon (only been to Katsu so far. Hopefully will be doing Terra from Teen Titans or Balsa from Moribito at AUSA...). Of course, I can't sew worth beans yet..so it'll be a while. ^_^"

Teto is my favorite UTAU. Her update sounds absolutely stunning.

Which is your favorite Evil series song, just curious? I like Servant of Evil 'cause I'm a die-hard Len fan.

I like a few of the Vocaloid songs, songs where the computerized sound of it works.

This one is my favorite because the eeriness of the voices just works.


I enjoy the process of user created songs and videos, but I find that I prefer the Nico Nico choruses with actual humans singing these songs.

I'm stuck on Miku, honestly.
I hardly give the other vocaloids a chance because I like her so much.

I adore the Vocaloids, but admittedly I didn't know there were English ones. I especially like Rin and Len Kagamine, they're my favorites. Wish I could find out where I could download more Vocaloid songs from though, cause the program I use sucks.

Ah~ I love vocaloid~ My favorites are probably Len, Rin, Miku, and Gumi. ^^ I love their voices! I also like the fan-singers as well. ^^ Most of them are pretty good.

Luka is my favorite because her voice sounds more mature and less squeaky compared to Miku, in my opinion. But then again I guess Luka was made after Miku, and the process of making her software was probably based off of trial and error for older Vocaloids. And Miku's got those iconic pigtails, beat sleeve thingys, headphones, and a LEEK.

As much as Gakupo makes me giggle, I feel like the software can't make Gackt's true timbre shine. But... eggplants are cool. :3

My cousin just got me hooked to Vocaloid lately. I'm currently into the songs Just Be Friends and...Gakupo's song with a long title. /shot

My favorite is probably Luka or Gakupo. xD But Luka kinda sounds like Len sometimes. I guess it just depends on how they're used.
