I'm not kidding, this video was released two days ago. What do you think? Is she better than before or is she just as bad/good as she was on Friday?

The lyrics feel to be directed to haters of Friday, not sure. What do you think about that?

I'm ashamed to say it, but I actually like this song. The first couple of lines had me wincing, but once she got into it she actually sounds not too bad. It's definitely aimed at haters, which kinda amuses me. She's saying that this is her fifteen minutes of fame, so eff off.

It sounds like Disney Pop, and I can hear the autotune on the first line. >.<

I guess if you like Gomez and the like, you'll like it. However, it's obvious that they just want money. What else would we get after Friday really? She's just riding off her fame, I'm surprised it wasn't more outward hate and that only a part of the music hints at it.

She is auto tuned but not crazy like in Friday. This is what clean, pop music is suppose to be (as much as people may hate it). It is not that great (from a stand point of who is out from today and yesterday) but it is not horrible either.

What happen to her was partly her parents fault, her fault but mainly what Ark Music presented her as. They did a horrible job editing and auto tuning her voice. This is an example of how auto tune should be used (if needed). Not saying it is a good thing or bad thing, it just is. I don't particularly care for auto tuning but that is my opinion.

I just listened to it. The first thing I thought was, "That should totally be in a Disney movie!" I can totally imagine a Disney movie when listening to this song. It's actually really good. And it doesn't matter that Friday was one of the worst songs ever, what matters is that her music is getting better. c:

I'm not willing to commit to the "like" column, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how not terrible it was when it came up on my news feed the other day.

I'm proud of her for overcoming the overwhelming, almost universal hate that her Friday song got her to make this. I feel like her image has matured a bit, and My Moment is proof that although her first song wasn't a "hit" in a good way, she is willing to adapt, evolve, and become a better singer. She's still in her teens, so her voice is still developing (I think?) so I won't blame her for autotune use as long as she doesn't depend on it too much in the future.

You people seem to have same feelings as I do. I am surprised too, it isn't THAT bad! I also like the lyrics. I mean, this is the same girl who got a good answer to an accuse that she is the female Justin Bieber. "I thought Justin Bieber is the female Justin Bieber!"

I have to admit that she knows what to say! :D Just like in this song! I believe that this song should be watched more as a phenomenon than one song. But the lyrics are the only thing I like, otherwise... Yeah, I'm not a fan of auto tuned pop. I hate the melody here.

Well, its better than Friday... though I'm still not a fan of her voice. The lyrics are great, as is the music. So all in all, its an improvement.

I'm tired of artists being auto tuned. What happened to actual singers?
It's too repetitive and easily forgotten.
It does seem to be directed at the "haters". Her whole attitude just screams "I don't give a shit what you think!" even though it's because of the listeners that she's able even have gotten this far...

Her comeback for that Justin Beiber remark was good though. :XD

As I've said before on other places, the song is miles better than Friday, but still not 'Oh god, so amazing' in my eyes. Could be loads better.

I think the relative praise for this song is what happens when you set the bar so low with a song like Friday. There was honestly nowhere to go but up from there.

That is one theory! What if Friday was a plot to get into the newspapers? And now she's really trying to sing, although she can't make a perfect song here. I believe that it goes like this, she has even been in Katy Perry's videos after Friday. o.O

I always thought of Black as a sort of version of the "troll" in the youtube music/iTunes publishing for that reason.

"I'm popular because they hate me, u mad?"
"I made a normal copypaste song that is just like Disney somewhat about people who didn't like it, and they love it like nothing else because of Friday, u mad?"

She's going to keep using that fame in some way, I don't think she's really going to move past her past just like all these other pop stars she's emulating in that song. If I sound like I'm butthurt, well yeah I kind of am. But not because of her popularity. She's made it clear that she's not moving past mediocrity for quite a while, and I was hoping that she would either stop or continue making bad music in the name of satire. In the very least I could laugh and say, "OK, she's a comedic singer." But this is just plain bait & switch, it shows just how easy it is to impress an audience now.

Ick. I don't like her voice. I don't care about hating her, though. That can be done by other people.

It's such an unoriginal piece...don't like it at all.

It's a step up from Friday that is for sure. It's not bad, I liked it, but it's not so great of a song that I would listen to it a lot. But she did improve, which is good.

Well isn't she a butthurt little thing.

The first thing I noticed about the song was the auto-tune in her voice, I think it completely covered whatever her voice sounds like, specially in the first few moments. Do they even know how to work with that thing? Because good lord. Also, I see she made no improvements when it comes to being in front of the camera. She still insists on spending as much time as possible showering us with her face, which incidentally, got fatter after Friday so her 25 degree angle doesn't work anymore. Like many have said, it sounds like a song Disney could turn into a whole after-school special kind of movie, preferably with Lindsay Lohan in it.

It's obviously about Friday haters, but I have to say, if you need to make a song about it, are you sure you don't have "time to talk" to us? Seems to me like you just spent three and a half minutes talking directly at us. Silly Rebecca.

There's also a whole lot of fake going in the video, because she seems to be trying to show that she's having a great time being famous and has a lot of fans (signing posters), that her songs totally fucking rock (silly little guitar player with a plastic smile), that she knows how to dance (entering the studio, dancing with her peeps), totally unaware that we know she does no dancing in Friday (flailing one's arms around is not dancing), and that she's super known (paparazzi waiting for her to get out of the car), and whilst I admire her boldness to shoot the video like everyone around her just happens to have a camera and is filming at all times, even though apparently while she was in the car, the driver just decided to let go of the wheel and film the little princess reading a newspaper article about herself (what), it's painfully obvious that she's emulating more famous stars, celebrities and singers by putting all these situations together and singing about how it doesn't faze her one bit.

Sadly, this video is the movie equivalent of a deviantART journal of a butthurt kid who got served by a troll.

NeuzaKC: Exactly what I felt, although she was implying on the song itself, the video threw it way over the top.

You see, Friday was pretty bad, but she kinda has a voice.

As of what I've seen, she's a really nice person.... I don't know why people hate her JUST because of Friday. I kinda like the second song she made! It's not too bad. :3

hnnn..... it's not terrible, and I'm glad that Ark finally realized how to use their frickin' autotune...
But I'm not a fan of this genre nor am I a fan of autotune.
This is better than Friday, and I can actually hear that she sorta-kinda-maybe has a good voice, but I cannot say that I like it.

.... You want my honest opinoun?
This song sounds like just about every song I've been hearing lately, sounds like something disney pulled out of their buttox.
Needless to say I am no impressed.
I never disliked Rebecca Black, I just don't judge by ONE FREAKIN SONG.
If anything I would get into several heated debates with people trying to say how bad she is.
I am no a fan of her music, but I don't go bad talking her, insulting her, nor slander her name; all because of one song.
She was like any other teenager, posting up a random music video. The only difference, it went viral.
The moment it hit viral, everyone seemed to have been jumping down her throat.
Out of all honesty, I question why people think they need to judge a first timer that harshly.
Rebecca had more than a good handful of death threats, hate mail, and so many other forms of harassment.
She obviously wasn't famous, like many disney stars, but that is no reason to think she is an excemption in terms of attacking.
She is a human being, there is no reason to let such harassment be tolerated.
I'm glad to see she is putting the awful down right RUDE behavior of the general public aside.
However, I have to wonder if she'll keep holding onto the gurdge she seems to be underlaying.
As for critics of the video being real-- I believe it is real.
She may not be popular to the internet folk-- most of the people who insulted her in the first place.
However, she does have a personal life and always will have one before music.
The people in the videos are ethier friends, supporters, or even paid actors.
I highly doubt the last one, considering all the videos made were low budget.

Mhh, good arguments, but seriously, "She was like any other teenager, posting up a random music video"? O.O Yes, whenever I make something random, it's always something like this. :D
