I'm a little ambiged as to what categorizes screamo too. But I tend to like any singing over rap, so it's probably the lesser of the two evils.

Opinions can be wrong if they are not supported by facts. Her opinion is wrong because if screamo is "people screaming", then metal is screamo.

Okay, my opinion is wrong from "facts". But it is still my own opinion. And you probably think my post is crap. But thats ur opinion. And mine is what my post says. So yeah it's wrong by straight up facts but you want to know something. My opinion doesnt have to be right.

An opinion is just an idea that hasn't been proven. Kind of like a theory. And if I'm proving to you that screamo is not just screaming, why would you continue to think that? Why would I continue to think Hitler is a monkey, although I know he is not? Doesn't make sense to me.

Anyways, I dislike both because they give me a headache. Every once in a blue moon there will be a song that I'll like, though. I prefer metal and rock, and whatever else suits my mood. =)

Never said she couldn't think that way. I just said it didn't make sense to me.

It depends on the artist.

I could go with both, but if its like my favorites, like eminem versus brokencyde, i'm gonna have to pick brokencyde on the screamo side. i've got an idea if you want to learn about what screamo is. go on youtube and look up ''brokencyde'' or ''bc13''.

I used to be a hardcore "Omg rap is so stupid >:C" but now it's become pretty tolerable to me. Still not something I'd regularly listen to, but tolerable.

I liked screamo a lot as well when I was younger, now it's sort of lost its luster for me. There's a bunch of songs I can name off that I still like to listen to but.. that's just it.
