There has recently been an introduction of a new punk/rock/classic band in Arizona. They go by the name Switchblade Mary and the band is completely comprised of men and women over the age of 45. They write all their own music and produce it in a studio they built themselves. Currently, they have a page on Facebook and have played in several bars, music stores, and open concerts all over the tiny town of Yuma. They have even played a set in Hot Topic and are able to sell their merchandise in the store. i was very impressed with their music and with the whole feel of what they do when they get together and play. they have reached countless people ranging from age 15-60 over the past two years and hope to have a cd out soon. if youre at all interested in a more classical type of jazz, rock, or pop music, i would recommend checking them out on Facebook or Myspace and listening to a few of their songs! totally worth the time!!!
