I'm going to start a continuation story. I will start it and release a new part every day. Hope you all enjoy it.

Randomness and Love Equal You and Me
With Love From Tay

It was Friday, and my whole day was out of place. First I sat at the lunch table I had sat at for my first and second year at Sakaoji High, and something had been different this year. Girls. They had taken over the table as their own, apparently, and as soon as they saw me sitting there they gave me a one way ticket to lunch room Hell. They laughed like little hyenas as I left the lunch room covered in sweet bean paste, and rice that they had “accidently” dropped on me.

Coming to school a week later then all the rest of the students automatically gave people a reason to take over my schedule, and all the teachers assumed I was a slacker. I sluggishly made my way to fifth period. “Tay!” I knew the voice right away. Ami skipped down the hall and took her place next to me. Well, at least that one thing stayed the same. My best friend since elementary school, whom I walked to class with as long as we were in the same building. “I heard what happened. How are you doing? Ami was beginning to get worried about you.” She frowned up at me, and I managed a small grin.

“I’m fine. It’s not all that big of a deal. I’m just glad to be back here.”
“Ami is glad you are back too. She missed you.” Ami smiled now, feeling a little more relieved. Ami was always more beautiful when she smiled. She was actually very cute, but she didn’t really care much for relationships. And she valued our friendship. She is one of the only people who accept me for who I am.

I’m not exactly good looking, and I’m not very approachable either. I tend to avoid drama, and I like to keep my grades up. I can talk to Ami, but I’ve known her forever so it’s easy to show her my feelings. I prefer not to let my emotions show, because it makes me feel open.

We made it to my classroom, and Ami waved goodbye and ran off to her class down the hall. As I walked in, I noticed another thing different. The only empty seat left was in front of the window. I had always sat in the back corner, and now I was forced to sit in a distracting place, where everyone could look in and see me, and where the sun could shine off my papers and make it hard to work. I would just have to deal with it for now.

The teacher stepped in just as I was sitting down, and wrote down a name on the board. “Today, students, we will be getting a new student who just transferred in from another school. Please welcome Suzuna Yasahito. She will be with us for awhile.

I gulped as I noticed the only empty seat was directly next to mine. The teacher pointed and told her to sit there, and I pulled my eyes away from her direction and stared out the window. She plopped down in her seat, and giggled cheerfully. “Hi! What’s your name? I guess we’ll be sitting by each other from now on!”

I swallowed hard, and turned slowly towards her again. “I… I am Tazuro Misahiro. You can call me Tay.”

Randomness and Love Equal You and Me cont..

“Tay? That’s a cute name. Different for a guy, though. Nice to meet you!” She turned back around in her seat and was ready for class to begin as soon as the introductions were out of the way. What a weird girl. Even weirder that she seemed to become extremely popular by the end of class. As the last bell of the day rang, everyone seemed to want to stay after to talk to Suzuna-chan. The teacher had to shoo them away.

I adjusted my glasses, and shoved all my books in my bag. The teacher smiled over at me. “I’m glad to see you back in school. You’re one of my honorary students. I don’t know what class would be like without you.” She grabbed some papers off her desk, nodded at me, and headed out to finish her work.

“Hey. Does that mean you’re really smart?” I turned around to see Suzuna still sitting at her desk. “Cause… I really don’t understand what we’re doing right now… heh heh…”

“So… you want my help?”

“That would be greatly appreciated.” She chuckled and pointed at our algebra of the day.

“I’m bad at math.”

“Math is my best subject. I suppose I could help.” I sat backwards in the chair of the desk in front of hers, and read over the problem. To me, they seemed pretty easy. “Basically… You just substitute these numbers, and multiply them until you get the variable. Then you do this…” I explained it in detail, and she seemed to understand.

“Wow... Thanks. You helped a lot. I won’t be so behind now. Heehee.”

“No problem. If you have any more questions any other time, feel free to ask me.”

I pulled my ponytail tighter and stood up. Well, at least I thought I’d be able to stand up. But it seemed that my pant leg had other ideas. It was caught on a nail. I tugged a little, and that’s when it happened. I tumbled sideways, fell into the other desk, and my pant leg ripped. I lay there on the floor dazed. Great; more embarrassment.

I heard Suzuna giggling, but then she stopped and rushed over to my side. “Hey, hey, are you okay? That was a nasty fall. Do you need to go to the nurse…?” Her sentence slurred off as she stared at me with an expression that I couldn’t seem to understand. Her face was flustered, and she avoided eye contact. “Are… are you okay?” She asked more quietly.

“I’m fine. Thank you…” I stayed laying down, scared to stand up and lose my balance again. My glasses had fallen off, but my vision wasn’t entirely impaired. And somehow, my hair tie had broken, and my hair had fallen out of the tightly tied ponytail that I had put it in earlier. Did I look weird? Was that why Suzuna was staring at me funny?

She played nervously with her fingers. “You… You should wear your hair down more often.”

“What…” I stared at her blankly. Why did she say that all of a sudden?

“Well… I uh… I just mean that it looks better on you. You have really nice hair… and… eyes.”

I stared at her, completely in aw. No one had ever said anything like that about me before. “Um… thanks?” I muttered.

“Here.” She held her hand down towards me. “You’ll get your uniform all dirty if you stay on the floor. Oh. And… I can sew your pants for you if you would like me to.”

“That would be nice, I guess…” I took her hand and hauled myself back onto my feet. What a weird day this was starting to be.

In The Wind

Arri pulled on his leather coat, and slipped on a pair of worn black boots. It wasn't unusual for him to sneak out at night through his bedroom window. He wasn't sure if his parents knew, but they never bothered him about it. He pulled his shoulder length brown hair back into a ponytail so that it wouldn't be in his face. He was going to need to be able to see as clearly as possible tonight. He slid over the window edge and lowered himself to the roof just below it. After finding a good footing, he slid down to the bottom of it and jumped down to the ground. It wasn't that long of a fall, and he was used to it.
The walk to the Freyt was cold, and wet. It always rained in the small town of Ashyre, and tonight was no exception. His boots were barely quiet in all the puddles that had collected on the road. He tried his best to avoid them, but failed miserably. One extremely large puddle even managed to get his pants wet.
He turned into an alley, and shortly after came out in a small paved over clearing. Beyond it was a large storehouse that had a set of huge metal doors for its entrance. He headed for the doors, and stepped inside them, grinning to himself. He'd been waiting all week for this.
"Nice to see you decided to join us." A thin guy clad in black announced, seeming amused.
"Well it's been a while since we've been to Aguire. I thought maybe there might be something new there." Arri replied. He loved Aguire. It was only a few months ago that they had found it. A large portal that they could open up as they wish, in the middle of this deserted warehouse. It led them to another dimension, which they had found out from the locals there, had the name of Aguire. They hadn't been too far beyond the large capital city, but they knew there was an entire world to be explored there. Every so often they went back to search a little farther. Tonight they were going to take a flying boat across the sea and go to a smaller city call Asyriph. Apparently, it was full of elven looking people called the Ahyrians.
"So, are we ready to go?" A larger guy asked. He kicked a lever over, and a huge glowing portal appeared in the wall next to him. A few people nodded, and he stepped into it, vanishing instantly.
"I'm so ready!" Arri walked over to the portal and placed his hand halfway in it. He felt the warmth of Aquire, and yearned for its sunny streets, and flower filled fields. "Let's go." He stepped into it and felt the rush as he stepped out into a completely different place. "Aguire... how I've missed you."

[To be cont....]
