Should I go on?
I usually have nothing to do! And I'm quite bored of my routine...so I decided to start writting a story...a short on actually! And till now, I,ve written only a chapter...I'm not sure if I should go on writting ...
And this is it: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~In which Johann faces the life she left a few months ago… She woke up one day, realizing that it was all not worth it. She was still in bed by half past five in the morning, though she knew she had to prepare herself for the big day! Johann was starting her final year in school, though she was not excited about it at all. With her best friend, Dianne, leaving to continue her studies in Europe, Johann knew she had nothing to look forward to…absolutely nothing…and she is left alone for the millionth time. It took her years to find a person she can trust so bad, she would tell them almost everything about her, it was Dianne. They have been friends for over two years now, those were the best years I have ever had…since…that incident, thought Johann while she picked up her phone, looking ata picture of hr and Dianne, sitting on a bench in school. They were both happy, not only for having each other but, for actually passing the tenth grade. When the cold water touched her warm face, it made her shudder. She will be the outcast again, she will be thought of as a ‘wierdo’. Her nightmares will start again. She could not get along with just anyone, it sure is strange but true…Johann didn’t care about this anymore she got used to it actually…I guess it is isolation time, thought Johann, it is me against the world. She finally decided to get up. Johann put on her white slippers with polka dots and headed to the bathroom. The cold water on her face made her shudder. She Brushed her long chocolate brown, sleek hair and tied it as a pony tail. Johann headed back to her room and took out her uniform. It was a plain white shirt with a pair of blue pants and a stripy tie, with two or three shaded of dark blue that matched with the uniform. By the time she put on her old black converse, her mother called “Breakfast!” Johann silently picked up her school backpack and went down the stairs. When she got to the kitchen, her brother, Zack, was already there having his morning cereals. Zack was almost a year younger than Johann. He had the same misty green eyes and thin pinkish lips, but his nose was kind of, bigger than hers but it matched with his square jawed face. He had black short spiky hair and looked rather…ravishing. They were, then, off to school when they were done. A half an hour was the time elapsed for them to reach school, where Zack went sprinting off, to join his friends. Johann examined the school grounds in detail, “I guess nothing changed in the last three months huh?” said Johann quietly to herself. She was standing next to the school gate for a while waiting, for what? Well, she didn’t know either!! Johann walked over to a dark corner, where she looked in her bag. She had: her iPod; a notebook; some chewing gum; her Biology; chemistry and English text books and of course, one of the fantasy/sci-fi books she bought the other day. She took it out rapidly and flipped the pages, to where she left her bookmark. A very simple one, the bookmark, i.e. It was nothing but her converse tag that looked very…green. Yes, green was Johann's favorite color of all. NO longer did she start reading than Ellie arrived with her side-kicks. Ellie was a very good friend with Ellie, but one day, unfortunately, everything went wrong between them and their friendship just fell apart. “So why is your nose sticking to that book of yours?” asked Ellie rudely. Johann was the quiet type of person. She liked reading a lot; listening to music…rock music…sometimes Japanese; she liked reading Manga ,ie, Japanese comic books and watching anime. Along with photography and last but not least, drawing. Though many did not support her, the other group of people, keep on encouraging her to keep it on! Unfortunately, neither her parents, nor Ellie were on her side, which got her all depressed. Johann ignore her and picked her hings, making herself ready to go. Ellie interrupted “I guess you don’t have the guts to answer me…or did the sweat little cat feed on your tongue?!” At this, she giggled along with Rose and Violette, her side-kicks. When Johan was ready to answer them back, Alan showed up “No actually, she does not need to step down to your level to make a point” he winked at Johan, “and I think she wants you to leave her alone, kapiche?” Ellie and her friends got all confused and just left. “Hey there! Gosh, hoe long has it been?” Alan was the last person to join Johan’s group. He was almost six feet tall, with medium length, blue-black hair that fell down on his face and covered his shoulders. He had bluish gray small eyes that were staring at Johann in a puzzled manner. He was the computer and electronic genius. It was not till last year, that he was able to finish the robot and presented it for the science fair. What made him feel better was that he on the first prize! He deserved it, thought Johann. “Hey Alan! You didn’t have to do that…I was able to take care of it…” “Come on, not even a ‘thank you’??” “Thanks…but I could have dealt with them alright.” “Oh and how would that be?”asked Alan,”By ignoring them???” “NO…that was the main plan, so they would get bored after a while, but I was going to answer back!!” It was then , when Alan put his right arm around her and kept on talking about what he was planning for this year’s Science fair, while they headed off to their first class. Johann was not listening to him at all…she was in her own world of depressing thoughts and sad memories. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Too many details?? Or are they too few?? I'm new to this so I need alot of help!!! |
