(This is an actual story, so if it's moved… I'mma be a little confused.)

She gripped the twelve gauge shotgun in her hand tightly, standing there as the hord moved in on her slowly. She whispered a few words, Eric… I wish I told you that I loved you… But, you're not here anymore…. Drooling mouths, droned look in their eyes, and moaning and gurgling sounds that would normally make anyone scared if they were to hear. As she backed up slowly, keeping her eyes locked on the hord of zombies, and her left arm gone, she began to think of the begining of the infection that rapidly spread throught the world.

FIVE YEARS AGO

She laughed at the joke that was just said, her friend surrounding her having a good time. Her name is Elli Wilson. Short for Elizabeth. She wasn't too fond of her name, so she always said to call her, 'Elli.' Elli was twenty-four years old and was in college. Mythical creatures, vampires, zombies, werewolves… They all were just a story at the time to her. She always thought that they weren't real. No one thought they were real in the state of Mississippi. Who would believe in that, anyways? That's what she always said. She was secretly fasinated by Zombies. She never told anyone because she thought that they'd all think she was insane. She knew shew was insane, but who would want to hear that from someone? Apparently not her.
Elli pilled down on her skirt, feeling uncomfortable with it's short length. Her friend she's befriended in the second grade looked at her sideways. "What are you doing with your skirt now??" He asked. That's Eric Trueman. The best friend she'd ever had. Both Eric and Elli were inlove with each other, but never admited it. They felt that their friendship would be ruined if they were to confess their love for each other. Elli looked up at Eric, her smile fading softly. "What's it to you?"
"Well, you keep fidgeting with that thing so often, maybe you should just leave it be."
"Who died and made you the king of my skirt?"
He just looked at her for a moment then shoved her softly.
Elli gauked at him slightly as she grabbed his hand and thredded her fingers through his. Niether of they were dating, but everyone they knew felt they should.
Everyday after class they held each other's hand and walked to luch, where they felt like going.

As they turned a corner, walking towards the cafeteria, a woamn walked passed them looking strangely pale and smelling of rotting flesh. Elli covered her nose, locking her green hues onto the woman passing them.
"Hey Eric, look at her… Does she look a little pale to you?"
"Hm, now that you mention it, she does… I wonder why…"
The woman quickly ran to a trashcan and bent over it, puking. Elli's expression quickly turned to disgust, gagging at the sounds of the puking woman.
"Oh ew… I think she's sick…"
Eric turned back around to look at the woman, examining her. Suddenly the woman hunched over a bit more and fell to her side, unconsious. Both Eric and Elli quickly removed their hands from each other, running to the woman.
"Oh my god! Are you okay??" Exclaimed Elli as she bent down grabbing the womans lifeless arm.
"…E-eric… W-why isn't her chest moving? Why isn't she breathing?!?"

To be continued…
