~Lucky ink~

When I was little I made crowns from the clover flowers in our field.
I would dance and spin untill I fell to the ground.
Laying in a sea of four leafed green I was a princess of a land unseen.

I grew up and left that kingdom of dreams.
Magical realms were things of the past,
I have to be an adult .

Luck seems to be gone when you are living day to day
But what is that speck of green in the sidewalk I see?
Nothing but a clover....

I look closer to see
It is a lucky four leafed.
I smile

And am pulled back to my magical place
See luck and dreams are still under the surface
Sometimes it is just hard to see it in our adult world
Of concrete grey.

I touch the bit of green on my wrist..
A little reminder that, that far away kingdom does exist.

Just a little poem.. hope it is ok. Trying to get out of my box as I never have spent much time in here. :)

I think you did well. We are so carefree when we're young. As we age, we let go of dreams for reality. It's still okay to dream no matter how old we get. c:

Thank you so much. :) I really do have a small green four leaf clover on my wrist as a reminder. :)
