I did, several times. I was on three different antibiotics, although not at the same time. I'm just glad to be feeling better.

I seriously need to get back in the habit of writing everyday, though.

Six weeks is pretty long to be sick for most people yeah, but I suppose if you have a bad infection that antibiotics aren't curing then it's quite reasonable. When I had whooping cough as a kid I was sick for eight months. And ten years later my lungs are still kind of screwed.

I am not sure how antibiotics work for me. I normally don't tend to finish up medicine as prescribe by my doctor.

It was the same doctor. He prescribed antibiotics, saw me again when it was clear they weren't working, and prescribed a different antibiotic, and we repeated that till we found one that worked.

I'm still a little drained from being sick so long. It's dampening my creative spirits. I also have to decide weather to go back to my first novel, start working on the one I started for NaNo, or get to work on an idea I have for a Sailor Moon fanfiction.

And xuvie, always finish your antibiotics unless the doctor tells you not to! Otherwise antibiotic resistant bugs start coming around.

Maybe I am taking big risks. I have not been seeing doctor for years. I survived without doctor prescription for years, more than 5 years now.

I don't see doctors unless I have to either but antibiotics, if they're prescribed to you, are so important.

I am surprised that i had been living through my illness without finishing the antibiotic. O___O
