New Life
Chapter 1: Aaron
Aaron awoke to realise that it was 3:56AM… Aaron had awaked to early again…. Aaron whispered to his self “What’s waking me up all the time? There must be something I still remember my dream?” He quietly lay in bed for a few hours but still he had that one dream wandering his mind if I told you the dream right now then you will not understand for even young Aaron understood what it meant at this time he woke up at about this time every morning for about a month now… When Aaron got out of bed he got his clothes on, went to get breakfast, got his school stuff and left… As you can not tell at this moment Aaron was not a normal teenager he wasn’t lazy he tided his room and keep it that way he had a part time job but even then he had something that made him different, him and his friend Kiato was the only out-casts they where best of friends by this point his friend Kiato was always trying to get a girlfriend but Aaron did not care he had never had one and did not intend to ask a girl in his school and his house was the only one in a field… Aaron sometimes envied Kiato because Kiato had a family Aaron’s family had died years ago when he was only 7years old after that he meet Kiato but Aaron refused staying with him and keep his grand-fathers farm house anyway back to the story… as Aaron walked to school he still had that dream wandering across his mind… as Aaron walked he saw a girl about the same age as him what he had never seen before…
Chapter 2: The New Girl
After about a 45minute walk Aaron got to school this school was not very popular in fact it had no more than 250 students and 3 different houses the name of the school is Hara High School (HHS for short). Anyway as Aaron entered the school gates the bell rang Aaron’s first class was science. In science he worked alone because as I have said only him and his friend Kiato was out-casts so they had no more friends Aaron had got use to working alone in class. As Aaron took his usual seat at the back of the class his science teacher “we have a new student joining us today” no one frankly cared new students to them were like meat to a vegetarian they were un-needed while Aaron though of it as a opportunity to get a new friend, then a girl walked in not any girl that girl the one Aaron had see before in fact this morning. The girl whispered something to the teacher, the teacher sighed and said “o.k. lets see umm dose there is no empty desks, dose anyone know who sits beside Ayumi?” then Ayumi said “Kazuma sits beside me” the teacher replied “what about Aaron?” Ayumi couldn’t resist saying “no one even likes him” the teacher laughed and said “your right there Ayumi there you go sit next to him” it’s like no one even wanted Aaron to be alive but then the girl whispered to the teacher again the teacher said “your stuck there now take your seat” the girl shyly walked to the seat next to Aaron, pulled out a diary and a pencil and wrought something Aaron seen something interesting in her an said “hello how are you and what’s your name the teacher never said he’s selfish that way” the girl never said anything she just sat there writing until her face grew red then she said “I’m Yumi” I asked her “are you enjoying it here?” she just said “no but its better than the last place I was at”…
Chapter 3: Why?
Aaron was curious when she said that so he asked “why do you say that Yumi?” she just said “it’s better if I don’t say why” as she said that a tear rolled down her cheek Aaron couldn’t go knowing that there might be a problem so he said “please tell me” Yumi sat there quietly then flicked through here diary until she found something then handed it to Aaron it said…
“life sucks I am not going to continue now there is no point everyone hates me and it wont exactly change they see me as some sort of emotionless toy today in maths Michiyo dident care at all he rubbed my leg then pulled up my skirt with his friends phone ready to take a picture I fell like nothing now just kill me…”
Then Aaron lifted his head and said “I don’t think that you have felling like all of us” then Aaron wiped away the tear Yumi said “thank you” and hugged Aaron then she added “there is one more thing”...
Chapter 4: Home
Aaron decided to walk Yumi home a bit luckily she had to pass Aaron’s house to get there but she hadn’t told him one thing… Aaron finally seen his house and said to Yumi “that’s my house but do you want me to walk you a bit more?” Yumi shook her head and said “no its o.k. I know my way.” Aaron’s head fell as he said “o.k. just be careful.” Then he remembered “you didn’t tell me the other thing what was it?” Yumi turned and started to walk away when she said “it’s not important.” But Aaron could not leave it at that but he was tired so went home to his bed and went to sleep… the next morning Aaron got ready and set off. When he left his house he seen Yumi but she still seemed asleep like she did not get any sleep last night so Aaron ran to catch up with her and say “are you o.k.?” Yumi just looked at Aaron blankly like he didn’t say anything but she did see that he was there and said “good morning Aaron” Aaron looked at Yumi and said “did you get any sleep?” Yumi replied “of course I got plenty” Aaron couldn’t let her go to school like that so tool her back to his house… When they got to the house Aaron showed her a room she could use Aaron was the only one in that house and had about 3 spare rooms so he picked the nicest one for her. When Yumi lay on the bed she fell asleep quite quickly. Something is wrong with Yumi but Aaron decided not to ask if she doesn’t want him to know…After she was sleeping Aaron left to go to school he was a bit late but he didn’t mind…After school he ran back to his house to see Yumi. She was still asleep it seemed as she never got up she was happy there with her bag next to her. Yumi never left her bag alone when ever Aaron seen her he seen the bag, but the bag wasn’t just filled with school stuff it had her diary in it and some other stuff no one carries about with them she was quite un-usual but Aaron liked that about her… when Aaron was leaving the room he heard a little voice behind him saying “Aaron? Is that you?” Aaron turned around and said “yes what is it Yumi?” Aaron re-entered the room and sat on the bed next to Yumi then she said “the thing I haven’t told you is I ran away after that because they wouldn’t let me move school” a tear rolled down Yumi’s face after that Aaron wiped away her tear and said “it’s o.k. you can stay here as long as you like Yumi, your always welcome” Yumi hugged Aaron and said “thank you, I guess I was wrong I though all men were perverts” Aaron laughed and said “not all just most”…
Chapter 5: Shop
As I have said Aaron has a job to pay the bills get food and clothes. Today is Saturday the perfect day to go shopping, Aaron had a bit of money and gave it to Yumi so she could but more clothes because as far as Aaron could tell she only had about 2 different sets of clothes Aaron went with her to show her where all the good shops were. As Aaron and Yumi walked to the shops Yumi was kind of nervous she had never been shopping with someone of the opposite sex but neither had Aaron this was new for the both of them. It didn’t take long to get to the shop. When they entered a shop assistant said “what are you looking for?” none of them said anything Aaron wasn’t sure what Yumi wanted and Yumi didn’t want to ask him for what she wanted. They wandered about for a little bit then Yumi seen something she liked it was a T-shirt that had a skull on its sleeve, Yumi put it in a basket that Aaron was happy to carry for her. The next thing Yumi saw was a skirt quite a long one. Aaron said “your best of getting a few pairs of school uniform he doesn’t give you much chances” Yumi looked at Aaron confused “but the teacher said nothing about uniform?” Aaron replied “he didn’t mention you name either besides he likes doing that he doesn’t say anything until he can complain about it” Yumi nodded and went to get some school uniform. Yumi found the uniform quite quickly but she didn’t like the look of it she was quite embarrassed especially after the whole incident… Aaron waited peacefully outside the changing room as Yumi was changing into the uniform; Yumi whispered to Aaron “I’m not coming out” Aaron whispered back “why not, nothing is going to happen” then Yumi said with a shy sound in her voice “o.k. promise not to laugh?” Aaron said “I promise Yumi” then Yumi came out of the changing room, Aaron looked at her in amazement and gulped then as face grow bright red he said “Yumi you look beautiful” then Yumi’s face grow red then she said “thank you…”then Yumi changed back into her normal clothes Aaron paid for the clothes and they set off to see a movie… on the way they had a quick snack, Aaron had a cheese burger and Yumi had a small salad wrap so Aaron asked “aren’t you hungry we have been walking for a while now?” Yumi replied “I’m watching my weight” Aaron laughed and said “you aren’t fat your quite skinnies” Yumi finished her wrap throw the Wrapper in the bin and said “come on were best of going if we are wanting to get there on time” Aaron finished and ran to catch up to Yumi…when they got there Aaron asked Yumi “what are you wanting to see??” Yumi said “how about Sweeney Todd?” Aaron said “sure”…
Chapter 6: Cinema
After Aaron got the tickets they went to get snacks… when there someone was watching Yumi, Aaron didn’t like the look of him…when Aaron and Yumi entered the screening they sat near the front… that person past Aaron, the one he didn’t like the look of, he sat next to Yumi… when the movie started Yumi hugged into Aaron, after about 30minutes Yumi hugged Aaron more, about 10minutes later Yumi hugged Aaron more and started shaking, Aaron wandered why she was shaking then looked at her… he noticed something… a hand rubbing her leg getting closer to her hip… Aaron whispered to Yumi “lets move” Yumi shook her head… they got up and moved to a row where no one was next to Yumi but Aaron…when the movie finished Aaron and Yumi walked home…on the way Aaron asked “why didn’t you tell me?” Yumi just walked with her head down so Aaron asked again this time Yumi replied she said “I got a bit stiff” Aaron wouldn’t let her just go with a worry in her heart or his and said “please next time something like that happens tell me or at least do something to show me I don’t want you to get hurt” Yumi shivered and lifted her head to say “everyone thinks I’m easy because of the way I look” Aaron took off his jacket and covered Yumi then said “you are pretty but I wouldn’t do that” Yumi’s face grew red and she cuddled into Aaron and said “thank you”…
Chapter 7: Dream
As I hope you remember I told you Aaron a dream more than one time but when I told you he had a dream I said you wouldn’t under stand it for not even Aaron knew what it meant….his dream was of a land a dark land where shadows lived alone… there was no light not even off a fire… this place was not hell… this place was worse... when ever he ran it felt like running in water… the lines that separated things and people where grey a dark grey…but in the end he notices a star a very small one like we see them…anyway this star the only source of light was locked away so no one could get it but this star made him happy and he wanted to free it but to do that he needed a plan…but when he finally though of one he raised his hands in rejoice then said “I have it I will….” Then he would wake up…
Chapter 8: HIM
The next day was school…Aaron and Yumi got dressed and set off…on the way Aaron and Yumi talked…”why dose the skirt have to be so small?” Yumi asked… as you should remember Yumi hates short skirts after the incident…”because the teacher is a pervert and he makes the rules…I just hope the b*****d gets fired” Aaron said with anger in his voice…then Aaron added “sorry I just hate the guy” Yumi quickly said “its ok ill hate him to if he’s like that”….after that things went silent till they got to school. In class he was there Kazuma he was the clown of the class, a lady’s man there was no girl in the school he hadn’t kissed except Yumi and Aaron wasn’t going to let him…when Kazuma saw Yumi walk in he looked at her in interest but when he saw Aaron walk in after her he grew strong with envy…Kazuma stood up and walked over to Yumi….then grabbed her by her arm…then he told her to kiss him…but Aaron couldn’t take more of him and grabbed Yumi’s hand and Aaron told Yumi to follow him...Yumi struggled away from him and followed Aaron to a secret part behind the bushes and asked him “who was he?” Aaron replied “Kazuma”…he also added “stay away from him he won’t give up till he gets you in his claws he is trying to kiss every girl in this school and won’t give up till he dose”…then Yumi hugged Aaron and asked “would you help me stay away from him” Aaron replied with a “yes”…
Chapter 9: Help
After Aaron decided to help Yumi he though how? Aaron didn’t have long to think the bell rang in ten minutes but what could he do? As far as Aaron knew Kazuma and winning didn’t go and Kazuma doing that to Yumi sounded worse. After a few minutes Aaron said “I have it” then told Yumi to follow him into class. Yumi looked at Aaron confused what was he planning? Anyway Kazuma seen Yumi come back in and he tried again but they just walked towards there seats away from him. The teacher entered about 3 minutes after Aaron and Yumi entered. Kazuma would not stop he sent paper planes over…Aaron crumpled them…he winked at Yumi…she just looked away…he would not stop but when ever he stopped to think of something else to do to get her attention they talked…”so what’s your plan?” Yumi asked hoping for an answer but Aaron just said “ill show you later”…..and it went like that all day till after school…after school Kazuma walked up to Yumi but Aaron had enough and kneed his nuts…Kazuma fell to the ground and curled up into a ball…Yumi was shocked at Aaron but she tried not to show it because she knew he done it for her and she liked having someone looking out for her…on the way home Yumi’s face was red and Aaron asked her “are you o.k.?” she just looked away and said “yes”….
Chapter 10: Dance
A week has past now and Aaron is planning on asking Yumi to the end of school dance but he doesn’t know if he can grow the courage to do it…the dance was in a day so he didn’t have long…when Aaron woke up the morning of the day of the dance he had a headache but he didn’t care he had to ask Yumi to the dance as far as he was knew… when he left his room he saw Yumi making breakfast as always but today had one thing different she smiled at Aaron as he left the room. Aaron was happy when he seen her smile but he couldn’t smile back no matter how much he tried…Aaron sat down at the table and asked Yumi “why are you smiling you’ve never smiled at me before”…the smile came of her face and she seemed confused and asked “don’t you want me to smile at you?...its just a friendly smile”…then Aaron said “no its ok… its just you’ve never smiled at me before”…Aaron held his head in pain so Yumi asked “are you alright Aaron?” Aaron looked up at Yumi’s face and said “its ok I just have a headache” Yumi reached into a cupboard and pulled out pain killer…Aaron asked “when did you get that?” Yumi replied “on the way back from school a few days ago now put this in your mouth and wash it down with water.” So Aaron did just that….after that they got changed from there pyjamas to school uniform…on the way to school Aaron said to Yumi…”can I ask you something” Yumi looked at him and said “yes what is it” but as soon as Aaron saw Yumi’s face he forgot what he was going to say and said “nothing”…and they where silent for the rest of the trip…when they got to school they went in class and sat quietly in there seats till the bell rang…the teacher was late…the teacher was never late…the teacher never came at all… the class was quite waiting for the teacher…while waiting Aaron wrote a note to Yumi it said
‘Will you go to the dance with me?’
but it was to hard to read its kind of hard to read something wrote on a chewing gum wrapper what was in your pocket…at lunch he tried to ask her some other way he tried to ask her on the way to the shops but it ended up as rubbish out his mouth… after that he gave up he had no other way to ask her…after school 2 hours before the dance Aaron sat outside school just at the gate…Aaron was cursing at him self then he said “dam I should have asked her”… Yumi sat next to Aaron and asked “should have asked who what?” Aaron covered his face and without knowing it was Yumi he said “I should have asked Yumi to the dance” Yumi replied with “oh why didn’t you?” Aaron said “I haven’t got enough courage and now it’s too late” Yumi laughed and said “who says it is there is still 2 hours left till it starts?” then Aaron looked up and realised what he said to Yumi…when he did he said “I didn’t know that was you oh god I’m so embarrassed” she just giggles and said “are you wanting to go to the dance?” Aaron was embarrassed and said “yes but its too late don’t you want to get changed before we go in?” she smiled at Aaron and said “we can make it” then she grabbed Aaron’s hand then ran to the house they both got changed and ran back… Aaron was wearing black jeans a black shirt covered in skulls and black sweet bands… Yumi was wearing a black long skirt, a black tee-shirt, a purple jumper and a red head band…when they got back they walked in and danced…after about 5hours the dance was close to a end and before they left Aaron said one thing to Yumi and that was “you’re my light in life”…
