Hey I've got this story I'm writing for school and I got writers block...Big surprise! :? my story is about a girl named Dea Montrell who is a 'protector' of a magical forest. She lives there and she is immortal and she will forever look like she's 18 because that's when she found out her fate as the protector. She'd seen her animal/beast protectors in her forest when she was a child but she just ignored them, she was too young to be scared of the yet. Also her parents were killed but everyone thinks they were in a car crash but they were only killed to save her by her main protector and her main pet, which every protector has, Bello is her protector and Poe is her pet. Bello is part man part lizard part bat. Don't ask. Poe is just a snow white owl with emerald eyes who seems to always be on her head. The main part of the story is a boy like her gets lost and wonders into her forest and they become friends who have to save their race to gather.Please help me I can't seem to make them meet :? any suggestions?

hmm... maybe they could both be struggling and one of them makes fire and the other sees the smoke? or they are both trying to improve their skills and training at the same place?
