First Story!:

Pita-Ten Part 1:

Misha, Kotarou, Koboshi, Shia, and Ten-chan all waited as the cruise ship was ready to take off. The salty air was fresh, making their noses tingle slightly. Misha was at the edge of the boat, feeling the wind blow upon her skin, her white dress flying back a little. She smiled and giggled as the wind blew harder and felt like she was going to fall. Kotarou smiled, and then stopped his grinning once a horn sound was heard. The gang marched to their rooms, (Koboshi, Shia, and Misha in one room and Kotarou and Ten-chan next door) and unpacked their clothes and other items.

“I can’t wait to get an awesome tan! The boys will go all over me!” Koboshi blushed as she arranged her hair. She had an orange bathing suit on and had a yellow flower in her hair, a little skimpy, but how she wanted it. Her blonde hair looked smooth when she brushed it constantly, but it went rough again when trying to lift it into a pony tail.

“Teehee, you look awfully nice Koboshi-chan!” Misha looked at the pre-teen arranging her hairstyle.

“Thanks, Misha-san…” Koboshi was too busy studying the random frizz in her hair than to use her proper manners to others.

“Misha-san, are you all right?” Shia looked upset when she saw Misha have a frown on her face. Misha looked up, surprised, and shook her head.

“Nothing really bad, su!” Misha tried to smile, but it faded when Koboshi and Shia gave her the serious look. Misha’s bunnies in her hair even looked sad once she frowned again.

“It was the most devastating argument in my life…”

2 hours before…

“Wake up Kotarou-kun! Suuu!” Misha woke up; ready in a white dress with a diamond necklace around her neck and fancy flip flops. Kotarou groaned and got up from his slumber.

“Morning Misha-san…what time is it?”

“Misha doesn’t know!”

“Okay…is everyone here?”

“Almost…you had an extra ticket to invite that one girl, Misaki was it?”

“Yeah, she’ll be coming…” Kotarou blushed. He had a major crush on this new girl and the gang had an extra ticket for the big cruise today and for the whole week! It made Kotarou astonished and speechless for days once she accepted the extra ticket.

“I have the tickets right here!” Misha looked at all six tickets in her hand and carefully counted over and over again.

“You said everyone was almost here, we are the only ones in this room!” Kotarou looked around him.

“They are next door, eating Shia-san’s breakfast!” Misha smiled widely. The door, all so suddenly, had a few knocks and Misha opened it. It was Misaki.

“Hello there su! I’m Misha, I’m another one of Kotarou’s friends!”

“Nice to meet you...I’m Misaki…forget about it. Kotarou, I got your mail for you!” Misaki held out a bunch of envelopes and a magazine.

“Misha handles the mail…” Kotarou stretched to meet his crush. Misaki handed Misha the mail and Misha inspected them.

“They are all bills! I must put them in the fire!” Misha threw all the bills in the fireplace and they crippled up into small charcoal balls. But, not realizing it, one of the papers was a cruise ticket.

“So, do you have the tickets?” Misaki asked.

“Yeah, Misha can you hand me the tickets?”

“Okay, dude!” Misha handed Kotarou the tickets. He stared as he saw five instead of six tickets in his hands.

“Misha, were there six tickets?”

“Yeah…”

“There are only five…what did you do with the sixth one?”

“I had them in my hand su! Then Misaki handed me the mail and I threw the bills in the fireplace and…oh, no…”

“WHAT?!” Kotarou scrambled over to the fireplace, but it was too late. The ticket was nothing but a crisp black ball, and it slowly crumbled in Kotarou’s hands.

“So, I think Misha is saying it’s my fault this happened!” Misaki screamed.

“No, Misaki-chan!”

“You can go without me you jerk!” Misaki left the room and slammed the door behind her. Kotarou turned around and glared at Misha.

“Kotarou-kun, it was an accident—“

“YOU’VE CROSSED THE LINE, MISHA! YOU’VE DONE OTHER THINGS TO MAKE ME PISSED, BUT THIS IS THE LAST STRAW! YOU’RE JUST A PAIN IN THE NECK! LEAVE ME LIFE ALONE!!”

Now…

“And we were eating Shia’s cooking next door while this was all happening…” Koboshi stopped rummaging with her blonde hair and looked like a jar full of melancholy. Shia looked the same way.

“Now, I can’t even look at him anymore…” Misha felt tears in her eyes.

“You can cry if you want to, Misha-san. We’ll let Kotarou-kun know he has hurt your feelings…” Shia sat next to Misha. With that said, Misha cried in her hands. She kept crying, the tears overflowing. It was non-stop sadness, flowing out of her body. She continued her weeping as the other two watched, thinking how serious this was to her…to Kotarou-kun.

Part 2:

With Misha…

After a long period of time sobbing, Misha washed her tear-covered face. After that, she went outside to meet up with Koboshi and Shia, already with their tanning supplies. Misha found a chair that was comfy and leaned back, putting on white sun block and sparkly pink sunglasses. She sighed, forgetting everything…or, at least attempting to forget everything. Her life felt so rough, like sandpaper, but coarser. She sighed again, sadder this time, and closed her eyes and drifted to a slight nap…everything suddenly came to an unexpected halt…the cruise ship shook violently, causing the three girls to scream.

“What the hell was that?” Koboshi took off her orange sunglasses.

Before that happened, with Kotarou and Ten-chan…

“Dude, you seem gloomy…” Ten-chan sipped his pineapple smoothie. Kotarou just fidgeted with his bendy straw, not taking a sip out of his own blueberry smoothie.

“I just had a rough day, nothing big…”

“Are you still ticked about Misaki-chan not coming?”

“I was, but when I saw Misha against the wind…God, I feel so damn stupid right now!” Kotarou smacked the table, making some blueberry smoothie land on the table.

“Don’t get so angry at yourself, man.” Ten-chan reached out for Kotarou’s shoulder.

“But, I really said some mean things to her…it’s just my damn temper…” Kotarou calmed himself a little, but was still so mad at his own self.

“Just drink up your smoothie. Maybe brain freeze will get rid of it!” Ten-chan pushed the smoothie towards Kotarou. Kotarou-kun nodded and drank a few sips.

He nearly choked when the whole cruise ship suddenly shook.

“What the hell was that?” They heard Koboshi say from nearby. Ten-chan and Kotarou left their smoothies at the table they were sitting at and ran towards the girls.

“Is everyone all right?” Kotarou asked.

“We’re all fine…” Shia replied.

“Yeah…” Koboshi answered as well. Misha just avoided Kotarou’s eyes and nodded slightly. The ship shook again, more violently this time, and everyone lost their balance and landed on their butts.

“Ouch…! This ship is so darn weird!” Ten-chan said, not trying to lose control with his temper.

“We should check with the captain, maybe we hit a rock.” Shia said. Nya popped out of Shia’s white purse.

“It isn’t a rock, nya! It’s a curse, powered by a demon…”

“Where did you come from?” Kotarou asked the black cat.

“I need to be with Shia, duh…”

“Demon…?” Shia sighed and made a distraught expression, knowing she was a demon herself.

“That’s right…don’t be so upset Shia-san, these demons are far worse than where you came from nya…”

“I see…” She answered.

“C-curse…d-demon…p-powered…” Misha spoke to herself, shaking as if it were ten degrees outside.

Flashback!

Misha, a little girl, walked on stepping stones on the ocean. She sniffed the saltiness of the air, warm yet the wind cooling it, and smiled. She loved the summer days where all the flowers bloomed and the sun rose from the skies, making the stars warm at nighttime. She sat on a larger stepping stone, cooling her feet in the ocean’s waters, and sighed happily. Until, dark clouds hovered over her head and thunder was heard through her ears.

“What…it was sunny a moment ago, su!”

“There she is…the angel with a magnificent power…so delicious to feed on…”

“The accent in those voices…demons!” Misha got out of the water and tried to use her wings to fly. But, unfortunately, her wings were small and inexperienced and could not even lift her a foot off of the ground. Black smoke appeared and all she saw were blazing red eyes and shining white teeth, razor-sharp and blood-thirsty. Misha-chan closed her eyes and screamed, the poison going to inject into her any moment now, a loud chomp sound was made, but Misha didn’t feel a thing. Misha slowly opened her eyes to find another angel in front of her…but who? Misha looked even more closely to see her aunt’s shoulder bleeding. The demon’s smoke backed away and vanished. Misha’s aunt, Sophie, fell to the sandy ground and Misha, panicked and shocked, felt the tears stream down her eyes like raging rapids.

Flashback End!

Misha felt her heart beat quickly, remembering how it felt at the funeral. Some of the temperamental angels said that it was Misha’s fault for Sophie’s death. Misha thought that God would believe the other angels and would make her a fallen angel. But God wasn’t dumb, he trusted Misha with all of his heart, and spared her.

“Misha, come on! There are rafts!” Koboshi shouted from behind. Misha turned around to see everyone in an orange raft, wearing orange life jackets, and Misha ran over and hopped inside of it.

“Hurry!” Shia screamed, protecting Nya, still comfy in her white purse. Ten-chan and Kotarou got paddles and rowed back and forth and back and forth slowly and swiftly. The gang screamed once they heard a large wave from behind them. The wave hovered over them and in seconds, the wave clashed over the orange raft.

---+++---+++---+++

Misha woke up. She looked at her surroundings…sand…palm trees…and a destroyed orange raft…they were stranded on an island, and the cruise ship was gone…

To be continued in chapter 3…

part 3:

Misha was terrified that she did not see the ship. Did it sink like the Titanic? Or is it too far away from here? Or maybe she was dreaming…yes, she was probably dreaming since she fell asleep on that chair. The cruise ship didn’t hit a rock created by a demonic power…or did it? Misha hit herself in the head.

“Relax Misha! You’re dreaming! You’re dreaming! You’re dreaming! Suuu!” Misha lied back down on the sand and stared at the sky…it was a deep blue color, enchanting her to fall asleep.

“Misha-san…! Are you all right?” It was Ten-chan. He ran over to the pink-haired angel.

“Yes…I’m just sleepy…that’s all su…”

“You have a small cut…” Ten-chan pointed to a small gash on Misha’s arm, right near her elbow.

“It’s just a little scratchy watchy! Not a big deal suu!” Misha said that, but it was the exact opposite of a little pain. It hurt as if a bunch of wasps continuously stung her hurt arm. She cringed in pain, but Ten-chan didn’t seem to notice.

“I’m going to see if everyone else is okay…just stay here Misha-san…” Ten-chan walked over to Koboshi, almost snoring, and Misha lied back down again, letting sand into her pink locks.

“I wonder if Kotarou-kun is still mad at me…” Misha closed her eyes slowly and drifted to a sleep.

Misha’s dream

Misha looked around to see nothing but black and darkness. She heard footsteps and looked behind her.

“Kotarou…it’s you…” Kotarou walked away from Misha, farther and farther away.

“Why are you avoiding me su?” No reply.

“Kotarou…why…why are you doing this to me? I said it was an accident su…” Still no answer…

“Kotarou…talk to me Kotarou-kun! You can’t leave me alone anymore!!!”

“You just sicken me…” Misha felt like her heart shattered like glass that was dropped.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

“You just sicken me…sicken me…sicken me…sicken me…” Those words echoed repeatedly through her mind, pain and horror.

“I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT YOU, KOTAROU-KUN!!” The scenery changed to a glowing white court room. There were debating angels with a bunch of calligraphy written pages. Misha looked to see what it said. She was almost going to burst crying when they had her name on it, right next to a tally chart whether she should be an angel or become a fallen one. An angel with small glasses at the tip of her nose hid the papers in a folder and glared at Misha, still horrified about the forms.

“God has spoken his word…Misha will become fallen!” An angel appeared and Misha’s angelic wings vanished completely. She felt the scenery disappear and she was falling and falling and falling…she screamed in terror as the air was quicker…this wind was devilish.

She kept screaming, wishing for mercy to come, and imaged Kotarou’s smile…but, Kotarou was gone…he wouldn’t be falling with her. He hates her.

She kept falling and screaming, making her throat hurt and ached. The blue skies drifted into darkness as thunder and lightning appeared.

“She returns…after so many lonely years…this island needed some company…” Demons…demons…

Misha opened her eyes and saw the pointed teeth ready to kill her.

“Misha…it’s I…Kotarou will not love you…” Shia appeared in a black dress, also with pointy white teeth.

Shia had betrayed her own best friend. She was going to feast upon her own best friend…

“Shia-san…what are you doing su?”

“Going to kill you…this hidden power feels fantastic…you are a fallen angel, but we still agree that you are still an angel! And every angel must perish! Their blood on my tongue, their flesh apart of me, and their wings cannot help them escape our greediness for angel flesh…”

“You are not the Shia I know!” Misha screamed, as Demons pulled her so Shia could have the first bite.

“No…you never knew a polite and kind Shia…she was just pretending…this island will haunt you forever…your sleep will never end…it’s a never ending cycle of death, am I correct? And you thought you would become a full-fledged angel. You’re just too desperate to think about becoming one. You will die today, Misha-san, you will die!”

“You’re wrong! I did know a kind Shia-san! And I will not be haunted by this island suu!”

“Oh, desperate for courage, I take for granted…no one will save you now…not even Kotarou-kun, you’re beloved…”

“HE WILL COME! HE WILL COME!!!”

“I think not, prepare your last prayer…that’s right, you can’t pray anymore! You’re FALLEN!!!!” Shia was an inch away from Misha’s bare neck, noticing now that Misha was naked, and bit into her.

“KOTAROU-KUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Misha woke up, with tears spilling out of her eyes.

“K-Kotarou-kun…” Misha kept repeating his name…over and over again. Shia was not evil…she wasn’t evil…she wasn’t...

“Misha-san, what’s the matter?” Koboshi, Ten-chan, Nya, and Shia ran over to Misha, who was still sobbing madly.

“Where is he…where is Kotarou-kun?” Misha said hoarsely.

“He is searching for food…he said he wanted to be alone…” Koboshi replied, almost whispering.

“Are you okay, Misha—“Shia reached out to touch Misha’s cheek, but Misha hit it and backed away.

“KEEP AWAY FROM ME! GO AWAY; I’M NOT A FALLEN ANGEL!!!”

“What are you talking about nya?”

“She’s a demon and she wants to feed upon my flesh!” Misha replied, more tears coming.

“I’m sorry…I’m sorry I’m in your life Misha-san…” Shia looked at the sand sadly. Shia walked away, holding back her own tears, and went into the palm tree forest.

“I…I didn’t mean to yell at her like that…but that nightmare I just had…seemed so existent…”

“We understand nya…” Nya said pulling a cold palm tree leaf and putting it over Misha-san’s forehead.

“Just get some sleep and you’ll feel better…” Koboshi said.

“Sleep…oh, no! I can’t sleep, and then more nightmares will come! I can’t sleep anymore!”

“You don’t have to sleep…just relax for a bit…” Ten-chan said.

“I can’t relax until Kotarou-kun apologizes…I need him with me…”

“Should we get him for you?” Koboshi inquired.

“No…I’ll get him by myself…” Misha got up clumsily and walked into the palm tree forest. I should apologize to Shia-san too…I said some mean things to her earlier…Misha continued walking through the woods. It was a tropical paradise. Many pink, red, and dark blue plants were surrounding her. She even picked a red one and put it in her hair to match her outfit. She continued walking, the ground a little damp from previous raining one day, and saw a small hole. It was pitch black and silver and black flowers surrounded it. There were dead vines everywhere also surrounding the deep pit. Misha cringed back in extreme fear and didn’t know what to do.

“Misha-san…what are you doing here?” Kotarou came up from behind her.

“Kotarou-kun!” Misha was startled, but smiled. She ran over and hugged him tightly.

“Uh…Misha-san…I can’t breathe…” Kotarou sounded like his air canals were blocked, which they were kind of, and Misha let go and started giggling like crazy.

“Hey, what’s so funny?”

“It’s just…it’s just that I’m happy to see you be like you used to be Kotarou-kun! Suuu!”

“Misha…I’m sorry about that fight about Misaki-chan…I got too addicted into seeing her on this trip…or, getting stranded on this damn island…”

“Kotarou-kun…may I ask you something?”

“Yes…what is it?”

“Will you never let me fall…can you hold my hand and save me?”

“Eh…?”

“I had a nightmare…it’s hard to explain and I would need a lot of tissues to speak clearly without a runny nose! But…let’s just say that…I had a dream I was a fallen angel…”

“A fallen angel? Misha…you will never become a fallen angel…because you’re always happy…”

“I am…? I guess I am suu…”

“Let’s head back to everyone else…I brought a lot of coconuts and papaya…”

“Yummy yum yums!” Misha chanted. Misha never felt so thankful in her life. Kotarou apologized, and she was thankful that dream didn’t exist for real…

They left the mysterious frightening hole, but Shia appeared behind a tree.

“Misha-san…that’s why you were mad at me…”

“Shia-san…is that you?”

“Who’s there?!”

WARNING!!: Male/Male love! Nothing extreme, but only a kiss and a lot of affection.

Finding Your Way To My Heart:

Rey Horishima turned his back to the wind. It was cold enough without the biting winds giving him frostbite. It was tradition to go to the park on Christmas Eve with his family. They find a bench and set out food there. The only exception to go with them was his best friend, Alice.

"So, some of my family and friends is coming tomorrow all the way from Florida! Aren't you guys excited?" Rey's Father, Hiro Horishima asked his Family.

"Sure..." Rey replied. His long blonde hair reached his mid-back. He rarely let it hang down, but during winter time it kept him in the least warmer. Despite his girlish figure, Long hair, and big green eyes, he looked very much like a 15 year old boy.

Alice giggled and flashed a heart-stopping smile at the Father. "Rey knows he'll have fun with them", she twisted her auburn hair around her finger,"Right Rey?"

Rey rolled his eyes. "Not the family part I'm angry about. The friends. Which friends, Dad?"
His Father smiled at Rey. "Just some people I work with. Be on your best behavior, though. My boss is coming for a few days."

Rey's Mother finally spoke up. "Yes, please Rey. Act like a normal person."

Alice laughed louder, but covered her mouth to stop herself. Rey kicked her in the leg.
"Alice! Stop encouraging them!" Rey pouted.

"Sorry! I'm sorry! Your family is amusing, that's all!"

Rey looked the other way.

Chapter 2: Family&Friends

Rey didn't want to get up the next morning. Getting up meant acting like a "Normal Person." And he didn't like that. Rey put the blue blanket over his head.

"Rey! Get the hell up! They're coming at any moment!" His Mom's voice was easily heard from downstairs. Rey immediately got up in fear of his Dad coming up and kicking him out of bed.

Rey dragged himself out of bed and washed up in the bathroom. He threw on a black T-shirt with 'Fer Sure' written on it surrounded by rainbows and hearts. His hoodie had cupcakes down his sleeves. His black jeans looked like it would squeeze the life out of him at any moment.

He loved the outfit because Alice bought it for him from Hot Topic one day. He looked at his reflection in the mirror and grinned. It looked good on him. Rey trotted down the stairs and threw himself on the couch in front of the T.V. His Mom and Dad rushed by plenty of times each time carrying different items. His Father finally rested his eyes on Rey and frowned.

Rey looked up at his Dad like he was looking over reading glasses. "May I help you?"

Hiro frowned and placed his hands on his hips. "What the hell are you wearing? You look like a retarded Goth! Go upstairs and change!"

Rey sat up and glared at him. "No! I like this outfit!" Rey hated his Dad enough. He didn't want his Dad telling him what to do.

"Now.." Hiro replied in a warning voice. Rey got up and flicked his Dad off. Hiro's eyes widened. How dare Rey do that! Hiro back-slapped Rey in the face without thinking.
He watched Rey fall backwards back onto the leather couch, holding his cheeck and staring wide-eyed.

Hiro pointed to Rey's face. "Don't ever do that again! Now go change!"

His Mom, Mina, walked over and glared at Rey. " Listen to your Father! Stop acting like a dumb ass!"

Rey felt tears rushing to his eyes and his vision bluring. Without thinking, he ran to his room and slammed the door.

He swore he heard his Dad say, "That fag thinks he's agirl."

Chapter 3: Visiting.

Rey finally obeyed his Father before the guests came and re-dressed. He wore a gray hoodie and blue jeans. His face was still stinging from the slap in the face earlier that day. His Mother set breakfast down on the polished wood dining table and smiled at her work. She borrowed a second table from her friend because of all the people coming. In the center of the table was candles, all shining brightly because of the blinds closed to let in less light.

Place mats were set under the plates and silverware. Flowers decorated the rim of the plates and matched the flower place mats. Glass cups were placed next to the plates and reflected the bright lights of the candles. Juice and Wine were set in a circle around the candles. Mina walked into the small kitchen and stared at the stove where the food was cooking. Hiro took off his apron and placed it in the kitchen cabinet.

"When would they be arriving?" Hiro asked his beloved Wife.

Mina looked at the clock that was built in with the microwave. "Well..It's 10:00 now... So, about-" Just then the doorbell rang through out the house. Mina grinned at Hiro before he heard her high heels rushing to the door.

Rey went down the stairs and peeked to see who it was. Mina shrieked her loudest and shouted, "Risa! How lovely to see you! Thanks for coming today! Come in!"

The infamous Risa walked in followed by her two sons, and her husband. Rey ignored the family. All he looked at was the husband. For some reason, he couldn't take his eyes off the man.

The man had black silky hair that reached his shoulders and stopped. His face looked perfect. He had mature looking eyes, his blue eyes looked like ice and seemed as if it would pierce you if you dare look for so long. He wore a black suit with a brown tie and walked like he had power.

The two sons looked like they were 12 and were twins. They had blonde hair like their Mother. Their Mom had pale skin and grass green eyes. She wore a blue dress that reached her knee's.

Mina smiled at Rey. "Rey, this is Risa and her two children, Kai and Riku. Also, her husband, Tatsu Horimo."

Chapter 4: Christmas Celebration

Once everyone came, they circled around the dining table holding hands and bowing their heads. They were praying before they ate their food, the tradition they do at Christmas time.

The room smelt of perfume, colone, and natural smells from the guests. Rey grimaced at all the different smells while his Mom prayed for everyone. It felt like the praying lasted forever for Rey. He kept glancing up at Tatsu to make the time go by faster. Usually doing something he enjoyed helped him pass the time.

Once Mina finished praying, all the friends and family whispered, "Amen" and sat down with a lot of noise. Rey got annoyed at all the screeching the chairs made when they pulled it across the polished wood floor.

The women laughs really loud and shout while the men talk quietly among themselves. All the children hung out around the living room T.V.

"Okay everyone!", Mina clapped her messy hands together,"The food is now ready! Get seated!"

The guests obeyed and sat themselves down at the beautiful table she had set only a few hours ago. "Everyone get ready to eat!" Mina smiled.

The food was set on the table and everyone passed it around to eachother quietly. Once everyone got their share of food, the shouting began. Rey's aunts and uncles pinched his cheeks and commented about how big he's grown and all that crap. Rey just smiled and pretended to care. That went on for forever until breakfast time was over.

The children bored him to death and the adults talked about crap he didn't care about. All he wanted to do was open presents and sleep. Rey sighed and stared out the window with his cheek cupped in his hands. Christmas this year was deeply boring.

Pudin Puddy 04-07-2008 12:34 AM

Chapter 5: Staying Away

Rey watched the kids run outside and play in the sprinklers around his front yard. Rey rolled his eyes as the kids kicked off their shoes with stupid grins on their faces and splashed water on eachother. Damn it was boring.

Riku and Kai sat on the porch steps and talked among themselves. Risa stood nearby followed by her husband. With great interest, Rey moved towards the couple and listened to their conversation.

Risa crossed her arms and talked while facing the joyful kids. "Kids nowadays are easily amused. Don't you think?"

Tatsu fumbled with his tie. "I guess." Risa looked over at her husband and grinned.

"Don't feel like talking?" Risa asked while grasping his tie. She brushed her fingertips across his shoulder and slowly brought it down to his upper chest. Tatsu looked into her green eyes that were shining brightly in the sun. He shook his head slightly in protest and leaned in to her ear.

"Not out here." Tatsu whispered.

Risa smiled slightly. "What are we doing?" she replied back. Seeing them made Rey sick and slightly jealous. Rey casually got up and walked towards the married couple.

Before he got close enough to be noticed, his Father placed his hand on Rey's shoulder, freezing him in place. Rey slowly turned around with a startled look on his face. " D-Dad?May I help you?"

His Father walked towards a room motioning for Rey to follow. Rey hesitated, then troted along beside him.

"We have a lot to talk about, Rey."

Chapter 6: Confession

Rey watched as his Dad closed the room door and slowly turned around to face his scared child. Hiro looked Rey in the eyes with pure hatred.

"What has gotten into you, Rey? What have I done wrong to deserve such a horrible child? Why can't I have Alice as a child or something?" His Das ranted on about how he wished this and that.

Rey pretended to look as if his Dad's words didn't hurt him, but it was hard. He knew well his Dad and Mom never really like him, which made him do stupid things and not care about his life, ut he never heard the words come out of either of their mouths. Nor did he ever want to hear it come out of their mouths. Rey stared boredly at his Dad and crossed his arms.

Hiro finally stopped ranting on and mummered, "On to business.." Hiro sat down on the bed and pressed his fingers against his forehead.

"Your Mother was being a wonderful Mom and went upstairs to see if your room was clean", He looked up at Rey's face,"Then she saw something under your bed. You know well what that was Rey. It was under yourbed." Hiro let in a sharp breath, an attempt to calm himself before he lashed out on Rey. But, doing this didn't help one bit.

Hiro got up off the bed and pushed one hand into his pocket. "Hiro, why were DRUGS under your bed?! Tell me why?!"

Rey backed up in suprise. 'Damn it! They found it!'

The truth was, a friend of his couldn't hide those drugs in his house with his crazy parents, so he gave them to Rey for sagekeeping, but he knew his Father wouldn't believe that story. Rey gained his composure and looked up at his Father.

"It's none of your business." Was all he could think of saying. As his Dad rose his hand over Rey's head, Rey flinched in fear of getting hit.

Hiro stayed in that position for a while, then changed his face expression to sadness and let his hand hang limp at his side. "Y'know what? I've had enough. Your Mom and I have made a decision. Once everyone leaves after your Christmas break, you're going to the adoption center."

Before Rey could respond, His Dad left the room without another word. Before the door closed, he saw Mina staring at at him, then she closed her blue eyes and looked the other way.

"D-Dad! Wait! You can't! I'm sorry!" Rey re-opened the door and chased after Hiro. "D-Dad! Please don't!"

His Father ignored his pleading and left the house. Rey chased after him, jumping off the steps of the porch and through the sprinklers. Hiro moved faster, knowing Rey was catching up quickly. He rushed to his car and opened the door.

Rey rushed past the happy playing children and through the front yard of another persons house. Hiro closed the front door and turned on the car. With a sound of protest, the car came to life.

"Dad! Come back, I'm sorry! The drugs aren't mine! Dad!" Rey felt stinging in his throat. His eyesight became blurry with tears as they fell. Rey tripped and came to a crash on the sidealk as Hiro drove off, dissapearing around the block.

Rey sat up on his knee's and wiped each eye with both hands like a child. The tears wouldn't stop coming now. Rey bended forward and had his forhead touch the pavement. "Sorry...Dad!" He mummered under his breath before he darted off in a completely other direction and into the woods.

Risa looked up and caught a glimpse of Rey running into the woods before he completely dissapeared from sight. "Isn't that Hiro's son? What's he doing in the woods?"

Tatasu looked at Risa. "Woods? Why's he going in there?" Risa looked back at Tatsu.

"I unno. That's why I asked you. But, I guess we both don't know. The woods are pretty danger- Wait!" Tatasu jogged off towards the direction where Rey ran.

Risa watched Tatsu also dissapear into the woods and sighed loudly. "He's too caring for his own good.."

Chapter 7: New beginnings

Rey closed his eyes and ran as far and as long as he could. His legs slowly started to get sore as he ran. The branches snagged his shirt and pants, causing it to rip and exposing more and more skin.

Rey didn't care what was happening to him. All he knew is that he didn't want to go to the adoption center and wanted to be left alone. No one in the world could make him feel any better. He hated this, his life, his family, everything.

'Tatsu..' Rey covered his mouth and stopped running. "Why am I thinking about him?...My Fathers boss..?" He whispered aloud. He fell on his knee's and his eyes grew wide. The woods were silent besides the noises of birds and other animals in the distance.

Rey suddenly felt light-headed. On top of that, his head hurt like hell from crying so hard for so long. Rey helped himself up using a nearby tree. He stumbled along deeper into the woods, then felt deeply light-headed again. He shifted from one foot to another. 'What is this...weird feeling?...' Rey felt his eye lids dropping and his legs felt like jelly. He slowly fell backwards with his eyes fully closed now.

Rey felt strong hands catch his fall and hold him close. In shock, his eyes burst open and he looked up at the person holding him. Tatsu's ice cold eyes looked back at Rey in silence. Rey screamed in shock and pushed Tatsu off him. Tatsu and Rey both looked at eachother for a while, before Rey closed his eyes.

"Why'd you come after me? Did Mom tell you to come?" Rey asked as he wiped himself off.

Tatsu closed his eyes also and stood up. "No, I saw you running in here and it's dangerous to be alone, so I-" Tatsu caught himself when he noticed he was ranting off.

"Sorry for ranting off you need to ge- What's wrong?!" Rey fell to the ground and started crying again.

"I'm not going home! It's not home anymore! I need to get away before...Before..." He bursted into tears once again, scaring Tatsu for a brief moment.

Tatsu went next to Rey and placed his hand on his head. "What happened, Rey?" Rey looked up at Tatsu, then looked away. "I...My Father...Wants me to go to the adoption center. He hates me now..." Rey was about to wipe his face of tears, but Tatsu did the job for him.

Rey looked at Tatsu in suprise. "T-Tatsu-kun?" Tatsu cupped Rey's cheeks in his hands and look at him with a worried look. "Why? Do you know why?"

Rey's eyes looked away. "Well...I had...Um...", Rey pushed Tatsu, "It doesn't matter!"

Tatsu grabbed Rey's collar and pulled him to himself. Before Rey could react, Tatsu threw him into a wet kiss. Tatsu slowly closed his eyes, while Rey's eyes stayed wide open.

'T-Tatsu?..Is this a dream?'

Chapter 8: Away

Tatsu and Rey walked out of the woods and towards the house. It was getting dark, so all the kids were now inside and getting ready for bed. Risa was still oustside on the porch, waiting for Tatsu to arrive.

Risa looked over at them when they got up to the frontyard. "Ah! There you are! It's time to head back to the hotel!" Risa jumped down the porch steps. "Ready?"

Tatsu fumbled with his tie yet again. "I need to talk to Rey first. I'll meet you at the car."

Risa frowned at Rey, then walked along to the car. Rey rolled his eyes and looked up at Tatsu. "Yea?"

Tatsu looked down at him. "I decided that, if they actually do attempt to put you in the adoption center, I could take you with me. Are you up for it?"

Rey stared at him in long silence. Going to his house?, Rey mentally grimaced, well with Risa that bitch there too. Should I really?

Rey closed his eyes. "Fine. I'll go. Thank you." He opened his big eyes and looked back up at Tatsu. Tatsu nodded with no emotion. "I'll see you later, Rey." He then, walked off towards Risa.

"Kai! Riku! Let's go!" He yelled as he continued to walk. Just after he finished his sentence, The twins came into view and ran past Rey.

As their car drove away, Rey still stood in one place and thought. 'Why did he kiss me?...I never got an answer...?' Rey touched his lips lightly, then smacked himself and ran into the house.

'Could it mean he likes me?'
