September 1st
My room
7.30am
I can’t believe I’m going to write a diary. I have never done this before but then it will be good because I can write what I am thinking and stuff like that. So here I go.
I have been pacing my room for nearly an hour now. I am so nervous. I am starting Hogwarts today. This will be my first time away from my family. I am going to miss them (even Hattie). I should go and have a shower and some breakfast. I will write in here again later
September 1st
The train
11.10am
I am speeding though the countryside. I am missing my family already and I have only been gone 10 minutes. Mom and Hattie were crying when the train left the station. I told them that I will be fine and that I will write to them at least three times a week.
The door has just opened and a boy with blonde hair has just entered. He has just asked me “have you seen two guys. They are a bit fat and are very dumb.” I tell him “no I haven’t but would you like to sit with me.”
Then he said “sure. I can find them later.” I guess I will write in here again later so the boy does not get to annoyed that I am ignoring him.
12.30pm
The boy with blonde hair has been found by his friends. They came walking along the corridor and they saw him. He then invited them in to sit with us. He was right they big and dumb. As I didn’t know what their names were. He introduced me to them. One was called Crabbe and the other was called Goyle. The blonde boy then told me his name and it is Draco Malfoy. Better go for a little while or they will wonder what I am doing.
9.00pm
My dormitory
Oh my god this room is amazing and so was the feast. There was just all this amazing food. I have never been so full in my entire life. I do have to say that the way we are sorted into our houses is a bit weird. We have to try on this really old hat and it can read your mind. I can’t believe I am here. I am not missing home anymore either so that is good. I should get some sleep as lessons start tomorrow and I don’t want to be late.
