This is a little story I came up with when I was (and still sometimes) in a Batman Beyond mood.
I got so obsessed, I did like any other fangirl would do......write a fan-fiction! XDD
This about my character: Angela Owens aka Catwoman of 2040
(No, that's not my real name, I actually just flipped through a name book and pointed at those 2 names......best way to get good names! LMAO)

Notes:
1. This is my very first fan-fiction, so please, don't kill me with harsh words........*shivers*
2. I typed this out of my head randomly, so sorry if you think it's not a very good put together fan-fiction.
3. While spell checking, I noticed that I somehow don't like to spell surprised with 2 r's! ROTFLOL
4. I put little comments in there to either explain something, make you laugh, or keep you interested. so you will see side notes here and there! ^^'

CatWoman Beyond

Year is 2040 and Terry McGinnis has been the new batman for quite sometime. He is still in High School and one day, a new girl has come to Terry's school. Her name is Angela Owens and she has the same science and math class with Terry.

A few days later, Terry is late meeting Dana at the mall because he overslept.....obviously because he had "night" duty before. Dana says shes had it for the last time and to Terry's surprise, Dana breaks up with him. (sorry TerryxDana lovers XP)

Angela happens to be near Terry and Dana eating an ice cream and over hearing their argument. After the argument, Angela buys another ice cream and approaches Terry trying to make him feel better saying "Ice cream can be a good cure!" and leaves after giving Terry the ice cream she just bought.

Next day, in science, Terry notices and sits by Angela saying his thanks for her helpful words and ice cream and they start talking until class starts and become good friends. (so fast, whoo!)

One week later, while Terry is batman, he sees a robbery in progress. Of course, it's the jokerz trying to get their hands on some expensive merchandise. While fighting, One of the jokerz gets behind batman, by surprise, and hits him on the head with a *lets say* pole.......a heavy metal pole! XDD and then dizzy Batman looks up and sees another joker about to hit him with a big hammer. Then, The hammer is suddenly stopped by a whip and when the joker turns around, he gets kicked and falls backwards in the air and DUN DUN DUN Catwoman appears......with a pun saying "I didn't know they even made hammers that big! Wonder where you get big enough nails!" *best I could come up with XP*

After Batman and Catwoman defeat the jokerz, Batman waits for the police to arrive, but Catwoman says to Batman "meet me at the ****** building on the roof after you deal with this." and leaves. (BTW: not a bad word, I just don't know any of the building names ^.^')

An hour later, Batman meets Catwoman at the building. Batman asks who she is and many more questions. Catwoman just says her name and that "I am not your enemy." She then gives him a secret phone and tells him to use it whenever he needs a hand and that it's only used to contact Catwoman. It also a means to get in contact with Batman. She then jumps off the building and disappears. *dramatic leave lawl*

Later that night, at the batcave/Wayne mansion, Bruce explains to Terry about the old Catwoman and that she was not all good nor all bad and that she was a master thief of jewelry and his emotions. Then Bruce tells Terry to be careful with this plausible new Catwoman and that they will have to trust her........for now.



The next few days and nights (lets say 2 weeks), Terry and Angela start to become good friends and see each other just about everyday. Angela does start to notice that Terry gets sleepy in parts of science and math classes. Dana (who also has science with Terry and Angela) starts noticing that they have been spending time together.

Batman and Catwoman also start seeing each other more because they go to the same crime scenes to stop them. They usually talk for awhile after the fights (of course, Catwoman usually flirts a bit with Batman and he gets flustered sometimes) and then go their separate ways to catch other crimes in the making. The press also talks about the two being seen with each other and wondering if they are together or not. Bruce has been noticing that Terry has been more eager to get out in the streets as Batman and believes it's because of Catwoman and starts seeing her as a good person. He also starts remembering the past with the old Catwoman and what they had.



Finally, one day after the 2 weeks, Dana sees Terry and Angela walking out of the school talking and walks up to Terry, saying she wants to talk with him and pulls him with his arm and Terry shouts to Angela, saying he'll be right back. Angela folows the two behind a wall to listen to the conversation. Dana is saying that she made a big mistake with breaking up with Terry and wants to get back together. Terry is hesitant at first, but then Dana convinces him and hugs him. She then pulls away and says that Terry must not hang out with Angela anymore. Terry says "No way, Thats not fair to her," but then Angela comes behind the wall saying "It's ok, you need to be with your girlfriend more anyways," and runs away. Dana then displays and evil grin and Terry displays a sad face.



(Again sorry to all the Dana lovers because I know I'm making her a b**ch in my story, but it's good for my character.....plus, I never really did like her XP)



Later that night, Bruce noticed that Terry was a little "off" and tries to talk about whats wrong with him when Terry is driving and terry says it's a personal thing. Then Terry hears a distress call on his private scanner from the police and they were saying that a group calling themselves the "Cats" were stealing some expensive jewelry from a museum. (Hey, it's better than "The Pussys" XDD) The group then starts saying that they worked for Catwoman and Batman becomes surprised and goes full speed towards the museum.

Batman arrives and saves the day and whatnot and after beating one of the cats, he says that they do work for Catwoman and that she has been trying to get Batman to trust her by doing good deeds all along. Batman then starts staring off into space, but then the guy he is holding down kicks Batman off and sets off a smoke bomb and the Cats get away, but with only a bag a jewels.

After Batman talks with the police about the situation and leaves in his Batship?Bat levitaty thingy?IDK anyways, he then gets a call from Catwoman on the Catphone. Catwoman says to meet her at the same building before so she can tell him the truth. Batman, a bit skeptic, goes anyways and finally meets her. Catwoman explains that she is not the leader and that she is being framed, for what reason, she does not know. Batman tells her that he must arrest her until there is proof that she is not the leader. Catwoman says that she understands and goes quietly with him to the police station. Although she is arrested, Batman tells Commissioner Barbara Gordon that she may be innocent, so he wishes that her mask and identity may be kept secret and she agrees. Batman goes back to the batcave and talks to Bruce about what has happened and whether he should believe Catwoman. Bruce also talks about how she may have really been setup.

The next day, Terry notices that Angela hasn't come to school that day and wonders where she is. Dana sees that he is looking at her desk and keeps trying to keep Terry's mind off of her. It doesn't work much.

That night, while Batman is driving around to hear more word about the cats, he hears a call from the police station saying that Catwoman is gone. He then drives fast to the police station and meets the Commissioner on the roof. He is mad at first, saying Catwoman wasn't trustworthy after all, until the Commissioner says that they cameras caught Catwoman being kidnapped by the Cats forcefully instead of her escaping. She then plays a recording that was left by one of the cat members saying that Batman must meet at this certain building and must come alone or someone important may die. Batman then runs straight to his vehicle and starts to go when the Commissioner yells that it will be a trap and Batman says "Probably, but I have to help her!" and takes off.

At the certain building on the roof where Batman has just landed, there is a sign on the door saying "come in." Batman enters and goes through another door that says the same thing and it is a black room. Then bright lights come on quickly blinding batman then he gets jumped and knocked out. He wakes up moments later to find that he is tied up to a big pole in some warehouse and across from him is Catwoman also tied up to a big pole. He then sees that they are both surrounded by a gang and then he whispers to Catwoman to try and wake-up. She then wakes up to see Batman across from her and says "whats happened?" Then they both hear a voice saying "so they unmasking can finally begin!" They then look to the left and see a woman in a cat mask (similar to Catwoman's) in a white lab coat. Then the woman takes off the mask and it turns out to be a student from their high school that is actually in their science class.

The woman is Amanda Watson and she is the smartest girl in most of the classes. Of course, being in high school, she is made fun of for her looks and smartness. as she walks in the middle of Batman and Catwoman, she tells them that she is in charge of the "Cats" but they are actually called the "Nonfictions." (yea I know, bad name XP IDK what else to call 'em) She says she is their leader and she planned for Catwoman to get captured and for Batman to come rescue her after they capture her from the police station. She plans to bomb the school tomorrow afternoon when everyone is inside, though they'll have to wait until tomorrow to plant the bomb and wanted nothing to stop her. She also says that before the bombing she plans to find out who Batman and Catwoman really are. She then goes towards Batman and says "I'll start with you" and unfortunately he can't get free because they took off his gloves, belt, and shoes and also Catwoman's belt. (Amanda has been watching Batman and Catwoman while they have been on duty tracking them, so she knows their gadgets.) Terry struggles trying to get free, but Amanda then pulls off Batman's mask and reveals to everyone that it is Terry. Amanda and Catwoman get surprised and Amanda starts rambling about she could never have thought it would be someone from her school, little own one of her classes. Catwoman gets surprised and says to herself "Terry..." and then shows a little smile on her face. Amanda then goes towards Catwoman and says "I hope you'll be a good a show as he was!" and while Catwoman struggles and gives a grawl, Amanda pulls off Catwoman's mask to reveal that it is Angela. Amanda and Terry get suprised, but then Amanda starts laughing like mad saying that it's to much for her to handle. Terry yells Angela's name and Angela responds saying "Sorry I never told you..." and then sharp claws come from Angela's hand and she tears free from the chains and says to Amanda "You may have been spying on us for awhile, but I got these claws right before Batman took me into the police station." She punches Amanda in the stomach and kicks her away. She then runs to Terry and frees him and tells Terry to get his stuff off the table while she fights off some of the "Nonfictions." Terry runs to the table and gets his stuff on and they both beat some bad guys. While Terry is still fighting, Angela notices that Amanda is running out a door with both their masks still in her hand. Angela then runs after her and moments after, Terry has beaten the rest of the bad guys and notices that Angela and Amanda are gone. He sees a door squeaking back and forth and runs through it to the roof where he finds Amanda and Angela fighting. They fight and fight and as Terry runs towards them, Amanda kicks Angela while she is on top of her and Angela wobbles back off the roof and falls. Terry jumps after her and catches her and with his "power boots," (pfft XS) flys back to the roof to find Amanda gone.

Angela and Terry talk, saying that Angela beat her up pretty bad so she'll be back for revenge and to expect her later in hopes that Amanda wont say their true identities to anyone. Terry then says that he wished he had his mask and Angela pulls both their masks out from her pant pockets and they both put them on. Terry then says that he never thought Angela was Catwoman and Angela says that she noticed Terry sleeping in the classes and thought a couple of times that Terry was Batman. The conversation continues like this:

Catwoman: "Well, we better get going to tie up those guys and wait for the police." *starts walking towards the door*
Batman: "Angela, *grabbing her arm* I'm sorry I suspected you"
Catwoman: "That's alright, I don't blame you. I would have thought the same thing."
Batman: "right.....*sees Catwoman trying to walk to the door again* WAIT!"
Catwoman: "Terry........you have Dana as your girlfriend, I can't..."
*Terry then pulls Angela towards him and hugs her*
Batman: "But I like you"
Catwoman: *gets surprised* "Terry...." *hugs him back and against the moon, they kiss*

The police come and arrest every "Nonfiction" in the warehouse and Batman tells the Commissioner that Catwoman is innocent and she is let go of from the records. Batman and Catwoman go back to the roof and Catwoman asks Batman to go to the Batcave because she has a letter for Bruce Wayne. Batman becomes surprised and asks how she knows and she tells him that she'll tell him and Bruce when they get there. (BTW: Bruce knows everything because he heard it form the mask.)

Later on, She meets Bruce Wayne and tells the two guys that she is the granddaughter of Selina Kyle, the first Catwoman and that Angela became the new Catwoman right after her grandmother's death a month ago. They both become surprised and then Angela hands Bruce the letter from Selina. The letter says that she wished it could have worked between the two, but she had to follow her own way. Selina also says that at some points, she did love him and that she never forgotten him. Bruce thanks Angela and says that she may come to the mansion as Angela or Catwoman at anytime. The next day, Terry breaks up with Dana and tells her that it could never work. Angela meets with Terry right after and says "You sure?" and Terry says "I couldn't be more sure than I am right now."
(What the heck, for an ending) At Night, Batman and Catwoman race on the rooftops and disappear into the moonlight.

Theres alot more, but thats the basic story! Hope you enjoyed it and didn't think it was a waste of time.
