I do not own Transformers, that belongs to the inventive company known as Hasbro. I just own my little OC's (who are not mary-sue's)

This is small something I was doing on the side. Figured I'd write it out when I had the idea. Really it's meant to be several chapters, but this is what I have so far, just one chapter. Please let me know what you think. I love criticism!

Summery: An unparalleled medi-bot with a heightened sense of boldness and bravery. That was what his sparkling hero was. And he had destroyed her. A Ratchet memoir.

Cybertron was a peaceful empire, as far as most were concerned. But the soldiers knew better. Away from the eye of the general populace a war raged with avengeance. The enemy called themselves Rebalon and was largely an entity of transformers whom had taken a disliking for the idealism's of modern society.

It was to the battlefield a large Decepticon, in his alt carrier jet form, carried his flightless Autobot allies.

"When are those bolt for brains going to learn they can't win," Drop-Out muttered as he checked his cannon's energy supply. He was a war ragged mech with an orange and black body, the Autobot insignia was nearly scratched out of existence on his right shoulder.

"When we stop losing," Avian responded. Her silver and teal legs bounced energetically where she sat.

Drop-Out cast her a sideways glance, "Can't you ever sit still?"

"Only when working," she grinned.

He shook his head before taking notice of her thighs. "When'd you fix that?"

Avian followed his gaze to find her Autobot insignia. Countless battles ago it had completely broken off. "Just before we flew out. I was getting tired of that old rust bucket reaming my audio receptors out over it."

"That 'rust bucket' is your commanding officer," Drop-Out reminded her.

"He's A commanding officer."

"That's what gets you in trouble I hope you realize."

She smirked, "has trouble ever not found me?"

"Point taken."

A deep reverberating voice echoed through the chamber, "approaching destination. Prepare for deployment."

All the soldiers stood and checked their parachute packs. "If Autobot's were meant to fly we'd have wings and jet engines," Drop-Out grumbled.

The hatch of the jet opened. Far below them rested the rocket tattered grounds. Gun fire and rockets whizzed like a swarm of flies in every directions. Tiny figures could be seen hunkering behind boulders, in ditches and wherever else offered protections.

"Are you kidding," Avian shouted over the wind, "this is the fun part."

"Wow," the optics of a young yellow-green Autobot widened with amazement as he read the article before him. It was standard on Cybertron for every school desk to have a computer built into it for informational access.

"Care to share what you find so awe inspiring Ratchet." The sparkling’s head snapped up, only to find his professor staring at him from the front of the classroom.

The young bot felt heat rise to his cheek plates. He had done it again. "J-just an article sir."

Laughter echoed throughout the entire classroom before their professor silenced them. "Please, elaborate."

Ratchet shifted in his seat. "It was - it was about the battle front."

"More like a certain medi bot," the male Decepticon behind him chuckled quietly.

Everyone was watching him. It was embarrassing. As long as you stay calm, anything can be accomplished, he remembered Avian saying in an interview.

Straightening up, Ratchet lifted his chin, "the Autobots and Decepticons won a massive battle, pushing the enemy back out of our territory. The commanding officer leading the assault was terribly injured during the attack and would have died if Avian hadn't risked her circuits to get to him. She had to practically charge through an enemy ambush to reach him in time."

"Evil shall always be thwarted on the battlefield," the professor explained to the class, "No matter what the cost may be. But now we have the more pressing matter of...."

Ratchet tuned him out and continued to read the article. All they were covering was ancient history. He would much rather read about history in the making. Someday Avian's legacy would become a required topic in school, he just knew it deep down in his processors.

Please leave feedback.

Thank you!
